Great food at a very good price... They treat you just as if your part of there family. And they have the best pies you can find we've not found any pies better than there's definitely worth a drive.. And the catfish is also topnotch the freshest I've had no muddy taste here only the best.. Love this place.
Our group of motorcycle riders (about 15 or so) stopped in for a very late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We were warmly welcomed and taken care of promptly. Service was great, food selections varied and all very tasty, and very reasonably priced. A shining star of the community of Burgin! We will be back!
It is a great place where the the locals go for a good meal. The fresh pies are sitting on the counter to welcome you as you walk in the front door. While you find a table you could come upon a birthday celebration, if you smile at the guest of honor wishing them a happy birthday they just may offer you piece of thier cake. That's a custom triple ter German chocolate with a fishing boat on top made there. Very very friendly place. My sweet heart and I have been there a couple of times and food is great. I had cell phone in my hand when waitress came to take my order and she told me to put it away in a very nice way. My girlfriend and I had very nice dinner conversations and service was good. They have specials though out the week.
Great fried green tomatoes. All you can eat catfish Friday and Saturday. I don't think it's a chain though. Nothing like the ones in the Quad-Cities anyway.
