I always have a wonderful experience here. The manager personally greets everyone who walks in, and she is such a sweetheart. We were seated immediately and greeted by our server, Katie. Katie was also very sweet. She was attentive and made sure our dining experience was amazing. The portions are huge, and food is always hot and delicious. Wonderful establishment.
I really enjoyed my visit here for breakfast and most certainly plan on dining here again! The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was very comfortable and homely! There were so many options and I was unsure of what to get but our server was very helpful in explaining the different options. The skillet I ordered contained turkey sausage, potatoes, and eggs, with a side of pancakes. The food was amazing and the portion size was very good for the price! I highly recommend this place!
Wow! This place is a hidden gem in the city center. Great food, great service, great atmosphere and the prices are very reasonable! I got breakfast and pie, plus pie was so good I took a another piece home. I recommend the pancakes and home style potatoes.
No place like the Village Inn. Breakfast is always super delicious. Hot and Fluffy Pancakes, Delicious Hash Browns, Perfectly Scrambled Eggs and Cheese!! You can’t get a better breakfast anywhere.
The last time we visited was the day after my birthday a few weeks ago. My grandmother who is picky AF with her food…LOVED HER MEAL! So did my husband, my mother, and myself. Our waitress was so super sweet, the manager made checks on the tables, and our food was fresh. Not only was it fresh, but the portions are hefty as well. The steaks were on point, as was the rest of the meals.
I don’t frequent Village Inn but every time am asked where can someone go for downright good comfort food just like how grandma would cook it, Village Inn comes to mind. And every time I go there, I am not disappointed. This time I suggested to my friends to have breakfast. I ordered a fruit cup(I asked for a cup but they gave me a bowl!). Even a simple order tells you a lot of what they serve: plump, really fresh, juicy fruit pieces and slices, sweet ripe not sour or stale.
Service is always friendly, welcoming and accommodating. On your way out, just take a few moments to look at the fresh baked pies and cakes by the counter. Hard to resist!
While we really like the food at the Virginia Beach Village Inn, the last two visits have left us annoyed at the lack of service and the attitude of the waitresses. We had to ask to get more coffee and sat forever after finishing dinner and finally had to ask the manager to have the waitress bring the check. We had some leftovers that we were going to bring home but the waitress never offered to give us a container. We tip according to the quality of service and will give a large tip for good service but the waitress this time received a small token tip and if it had been totally up to me, she would not have received anything.
Went here for the first time ever! This place didn’t disappoint! We got there a little before 9am on a Sunday morning & had no wait. We were seated promptly and our server Marissa was great! Our food came within like 15 minutes of ordering. All of it was super good, no complaints. Marissa gave us top notch service and we never had to ask for anything (i.e syrup for pancakes, creamer for coffee) unlike many other breakfast places we’ve been too! My pancakes were the best buttermilk pancakes and my husband had French toast! We will definitely come back, it’s no wonder when I drive by this place is ALWAYS busy.
