Best KPortal Reviews
Best value in fish and chips we ever seen.
We came in hungry after a workout and got a 12 piece family meal. Everything came out crispy and the boys told me it's the best fish and chips they ever had. I have to agree as well. We will definitely be back when we're in the area. Too good to pass up
Yay, they are open again!
Best fish tacos we've had, and we had some in Ensenada by the Blow Hole.
Big size, only $2.50/ea. Shared 4.
A tad noisy with the fans going & bar next door.
John and his team was great. They open at 11:15 but he was able to serve a group of 30 hungry people. We got 75 pieces of fish and a full catering tray order of chips (french fries). Can’t beat the price and the speed.
Very friendly team, highly recommend !
The food was really good here! My wife and I got the fish and chips and the fish were huge. Way more than enough for me and my wife to eat (we got the 8 pc fish and chips to split). The price to split between my wife and I came out to around $10 per person. The workers were also really nice and split our food up for us. The only thing that is keeping me from giving it a 5/5 is the cleanliness of the place. It is definitely a “hole-in-the-wall” kind of place but it is definitely worth it!
HAD EYE APPOINTMENT ON THE SAME STREET. SO DECIDED TO TRY THE VILLAGE INN FISH AND CHIPS. WAS VERY GOOD ALSO ORDER FRIED CLAMS VERY YUMMY. A LITTLE HOLE IN THE WALL PLACE. NICE GUY WHO SERVED UP. COULDNT POST PICS.
Certainly no masterpiece. Funny someone had said the lady had a little of a not so nice disposition. Some personalities just do not seem very friendly, but husband was the opposite all smiles and eagerness to please. Ordered only the fish, was told it was Pollock?, and fried zucchini. Around $40 plus for 15 pieces of fish and side order. Probably the fish ???? came pre packaged, since all pieces were very similar. Batter was oily, and fish crispy if eaten immediately, but soggy if not, happens with most fried foods. Tartar sauce not home made, either. Zucchini always a nice addition, better than fries for us. Food to go, was finished in one sitting by four of us. Owner a nice guy, food slightly above average. 3.5 Stars.
Really good fish, chips and service. We also got some mushrooms and coleslaw that tasted really good. I would definitely recommend this place.????
Small cozy mom& pop shop. Customer service is great. Price good. Food delicious. Very filling. Will return.
Careful not to drive past it.
