It was a quick stop for breakfast. It was very good. The waiter was very friendly & kept the refills coming. Your able to use rewards there for discounts on your bill. We got the cinnamon pancakes with a side of hash browns & a bacon breakfast meal with toast & pancakes. Our total was $34 & we used a $5 discount. I loved it all & if we're ever back in town for breakfast we'll be back!
We ordered online and showed up a couple minute late to pick up our order, and still waited an extra 25 minutes until our order was done. The restaurant was not busy. We ordered the “buffalo chicken sandwich” and the “turkey bacon avocado melt”. In the pictures you can see they look nothing like how they are described on the menu. The buffalo chicken sandwich is between two pieces of sandwich bread with nothing else but the chicken in it. Food was soggy and bland.
Great for vegetarian options, staff is ready to help do mixes off menu to help with any diet restrictions or preferences.
Sadly I was so surprised on my veggie dish I didn't take pictures but for this visit I got the NY cheesecake French toast and it is amazing!!!
The food was so so. I've had better at times. The server was really good. He seemed very attentive to what our needs were. He took care of us well. He seemed to have a great attitude which is hard to find at times. I think his name is Kevin. Thanks for making our visit awesome. I highly recommend them. The pie was pretty good too.
I was finally able to eat here after the renovation. From the outside, it appears more modern, with the exception of all the pot holes in the parking lot and the junky vehicles that are part of the adjacent motel. Inside looks immaculate, no more dingy carpet and out of date decorations. Gone are the televisions and knick knacks. Now it looks like an asylum, with their white walls. I asked for a cup of coffee with the flavored creamers, but they phased that out, too. They have lattes and flavored coffee. The menu is the same. they just serve on different plates. Darbi B was a wonderful waitress. I accidentally came on senior Wednesday because I was surrounded by fifty elders. Overall, the visit was okay. It's not fabulous, just ok.
Best village inn I’ve been to in the area. Food was very delicious and the portions were generous. Don’t let the dated exterior fool you. The inside of the restaurant is clean and inviting. We went for breakfast and we’ll be coming back.
I ordered a club sandwich for pick up. The bacon and Turkey both had a funky taste and smell. The smell / taste it had not been stored correctly and going bad. The fries were great. But having to deconstruct a club sandwich just to eat the ham and cheese was more than disappointing. Hope I don’t get sick for the couple bites eaten of the bad meat.
Very friendly staff! I love the small-town feel, despite it being in a city. The atmosphere is very relaxed. The price is great. I'll admit, the food isn't exactly 5-star, but that's what you should expect at a place like this. The food is still good. This is a great place to enjoy an affordable weekend breakfast!
