Yum! Had a double cheeseburger with fries and I'm not only really really full, but the burger was cooked perfectly and the fries were shoestring variety and were nice and crispy. Nice history in there too. Stop in and fill your belly with some yummy food and you won't be disappointed! Save room for homemade desserts too ????
Stopped in with friends on a Friday evening. The address says Lake Butler but it's really in Providence. The staff was friendly and the service was fast. They had something for everyone in our group. I tried the prime rib dinner, it was okay. I like a lot of herb and spices on mine so it was a little lacking for me. The special was Chicken Parm, no one in our group attempted it, because we seen how large the order was from another table near by. The do serve beer...and the menu had mixed drinks listed but the server told us that were out alcohol for the mixed drinks. They also have a large area to sit outside that is covered.
We had lunch here today. I had the patty melt, my buddy had the burger. Burgers weren't that big but they were very tasty. We both left satisfied and happy. Special today was meat loaf. I skipped it because my homemade meatloaf is amazing and I didn't want to be disappointed. Yes, I am bragging. No offense to Village Grill intended!
I got there early recalling times on the online review, not realizing there were days they opened at 7:30.
I was greeted by the cook/server, ordered & shortly received my food which was delicious.
It was well worth stopping by after seeing the restaurant location for a couple years.
The atmosphere was country with sentimental relics of days gone by which are a testament to southern roots.
A great place to go for a home cooked meal. They have one of the best Prime Ribs around on Friday and Saturday nights until they sell out, and they normally sell out early. You should also try the the homemade cakes!
AWESOME! I had the providence burger and it was HUGE. I could barely finish it. My friend had the prime rib (fridays only, I think) and he raved about it. Great comfort food. I'll definitely be back.
This restaurant was very small but the food was excellent! We almost missed the place because it's very nondescript and parking is in the back. The seating is limited but the food and service was definitely worth the 5 minute wait for a table. I suggest this place to anyone in the area most definitely.
Good food, good local place. It was the Sunday after thanksgiving and I was the only customer. They even accomodated my dog. My only complaint was the water. I was visiting from out of town and the water didn't taste good. Not sure if it is well water or the whole area.
