Solid fare with good service. The burgers are great but the cheese steak was a bit dissapointing.
I had the 2/3 lbs burger and I have to say that this is one of the few times that the burger was so good it was like it was fresh off my own BBQ grill. My wife had the Chicago dog and said it was done perfectly. The staff was very kind. Excellent place to eat.

Greeted with a friendly smile. Clean place. Nice and bright with huge windows. Outdoor seating available on a covered patio.
Tables can be put together, looks like for up to 10 people. High chairs available.
Cheese omelette overflowing with cheese, done just right. Hash browns nice and crispy, English muffins toasted just right.
Self serve coffee, nice and strong.
The burger is better than any fast food burger, but the onion was almost 1/2 an inch thick. The onion rings and fries are made from frozen bags. The onion rings were cold which was surprising because I thought they were cooked to order.
Delicious food, reasonable prices, relaxed atmosphere. Have enjoyed burgers, brats, and prime rib sandwiches - all excellent and worth coming back whenever in town.
Back again for the excellent burgers and best frys in town.
We both had sausage, egg, cheese, jalapeño and salsa breakfast burritos. The balanced mixture of each ingredient, with a generously sized tortilla, aye, ¡¡ que bueno !! Restaurant quality. And if you eat in, you are served with dishes and metal utensils. Food was delivered to our table, and plates removed when we finished. That was a pleasant surprise, we thought it was counter-self-serve. Our next trip to Lakeside, we'll visit Village Grill again. Restaurant quality and service, with fast food menu prices.
I enjoyed the celebrity photographs lining the wall, inscribed to "Teddy" and "Theodora"...should've asked who that is...
True grill food , great employees and cooked to order. The one and probably the only thing wrong is the seating, it just ok, although the walls are covered in local and sports memorabilia which can keep ur eyes pretty busy " kinda
neat if your into sports" even if your not its entertaining.
This is one of our favorite places on the mountain for a great burger and fries! Prices are great, friendly staff, clean atmosphere. Why folks pay $15.99 for a burger other places when VG is $4.50 is totally baffling!????????????
