villa has always been a family favorite. for a while it was different and it made me sad. then recently I tried it again and voila it was great again.!!!
Great pizza!! Have to get one to take back to Michigan every time I'm in Griffith.
Pizza is a lot like Polish food: there are a zillion styles and we like what we were raised with. That being said, I think Villa has great pizza, and the BEST beef sandwiches! Good food and good portion sizes for a reasonable price.
Ordered a small, thin crust, well-done extra sauce cheese pizza was not thin crust and it was so chewy. I could not break through it when I called the store the lady didn’t say nothing and hung up after I was done telling her that the pizza wasn’t saying crust, and how true it was, I will never order from there again
Just go and get this pizza. A favorite for years for so many people. I drive a bit just to get it. Family run restaurant. They always carry my food out to my vehicle since I have a big family ... who does that anymore? It's just great all around. If you want fast food pizza, don't go. Real pizza.. yep, here it is!
I haven't ordered from Villa for years , but used to get pizza from there many times. I ordered a large Sausage, green pepper, onion and.mushroom. The pizza had no flavor, hardly any sauce and the green peppers and onions were almost raw, very large and undercooked! I was very disappointed and out $40.00
Wow. First time ordering for pick up since they don't deliver to me in Merrillville but all I can say is wow. Very good and THEY LISTEN to what you say and do just that with a pizza. I ordered extra cheese on my half sausage half pepperoni pizza and they Did Just That! Almost every other pizza place I had you couldn't tell there was extra cheese.....Villa pizza loads you up good. They just got a customer for life. I highly recommend extra cheese if you are a cheese lover!
Hometown favorite. Visit very time we can when passing through NWI.
Update: Still my fav pizza of all time. They make a consistently great pizza and we still stop as often as we can while passing through our old stomping grounds
Update 10/4/2023: My goodness. Is there a more consistent place around? Have been going here for years. However, because we don't live in the area anymore it's been awhile. It is still as good as the first time. Thanks and keep up the hard work. We appreciate you.
