The Alfredo was very well seasoned with real grated Parmesan cheese, real parsley and I added deep fried salmon. Dee-licious okayyy! I had a double shot of crown royal. The bartender disappeared for like 20 minutes. Said she was assisting another drunk coworker in the bathroom. I didn’t need to hear that honestly. The only wine they have is the little sutter home mini wine bottles. However they do have a full bar. My friend got the salmon burger. They were out of buns but substituted with Texas toast. The ambiance is very chill. The DJ was playing all old school R&B which I enjoyed. I’ll probably go early to avoid the crowds because that’s just me. However the food did come out quick.
The service was terrible. The young lady who “waited” on our table could hardly be considered as attentive. We were told that the kitchen was closing soon and to order quickly. She still took almost 5 minutes to return to take our order.
Each order came out separately and took at least 20 minutes from the first plate to the last. The waitress told me my steak bites took the longest because they have to marinate the meat before they cook it. ????
The catfish and grits were good although the portion size was not matching the cost of the plate. It looked as if they cut a whole piece in half and placed it on a huge bowl of grits. She asked for a spoon for the grits but was told they couldn’t find one. When we asked for salt and pepper she brought out a mix of salt and pepper.
The chicken and waffles was nothing to write home about. No butter. The chicken tasted like it was cooked in burnt old grease. And for whatever reason they put old wilted lettuce on the plate.
The only thing worth having was the drink they call the Vixen.
The waitress was so bad.. when she brought out each plate she would come back with silverware if she could locate it. She seemed to be more interested in serving other tables of men rather than me and my girls. Unfortunately for her she didn’t realize that we are great tippers who seek to empower women. She missed her blessings that day.
For this to be a black owned business it’s sad to get this type of service. My friend had to go to the kitchen to get my silverware because the waitress blatantly dismissed my request to eat my food after the table had already eaten.
The bill was over $100 and honestly was worth about $80 at best. They charged a 20% gratuity . So not worth it. I’m from Detroit and am visiting for a birthday weekend. I don’t recommend going here. The patio area was a mess and it kinda looked ran down inside. I should’ve anticipated the service I got.
These mfs out their mind for over chargin me for a side . The side of Mac was days old on top of that . No worries , I won’t be back !
This was the WORST customer service I have experienced dining out! My friend & I arrived at the establishment around 8p on Sunday. First off, it took like 30-45 minutes before someone even came to our table to take our orders. When we finally placed our orders, we asked about the special they were promoting on their IG page that was supposed to run from noon-2a for Cinco de Mayo. Our waitress, Bonnie was oblivious to what we were talking about so we showed her the flyer and she said she would honor it. My friend & I both ordered shots and tacos. After some time passed, we noticed we still didn’t receive our drinks so we got our waitress’s attention and she proceeded as if she was going to get them. Oh and I almost forgot, we asked Bonnie for lemon for our water about 3 times and never got those neither. We literally had to repeat our order to her about 3 or 4 times before it stuck. On the 3rd round, she finally decided to put the order in her phone. (Why don’t you have a notepad or something of sorts to take our order ????). So at this point over an hr has passed and we still don’t have our food or drinks. We were still trying to give grace to Bonnie because she was nice and seemed eager to get our order out to us. More time has passed and another waitress came to our table to get our order. We had to repeat the orders to her like 2-3 times also and then she decided to put it in her phone. Why is it taking two people to get our SIMPLE orders, remind u, the place wasn’t even crowded, there were a handful of ppl there. By this time, it’s been 2 hrs or so and we still don’t have food or drinks. During this time, I’ve watched multiple parties who came in after us get their food/drinks. How sway??! We’re beyond irritable atp and starving!!! So we decided to leave! On the way to our car, we saw both ladies who took our orders, Bonnie and not sure what the other waitress’s name is- she was tall, medium brown skin, and had curly hair, half up half down hairdo with hoop earrings, outside talking and taking selfies with a guy. I don’t even think our orders ever got put in! In addition, one of the waitresses there, Karmen- light brown complexion, braces, boho box braids was very rude!! She should NOT be in the CS business with that nasty attitude and unapproachable demeanor! Her & I ended up exchanging words before I left for good.
I DO NOT recommend this place for anything! They are in need of a complete reservation! The ambiance is not pleasant, customer service was slow. They couldn’t even handle a small crowd of under 20 ppl so I could just imagine how business is ran when it’s crowded, if they even get a big crowd.
I WILL NEVER BE RETURNING!! I wouldn’t even go back if I was offered free food/drinks. STAY AWAY‼️‼️ ???????????????????????????????????????? ???? ???? ????

If 0 Stars were an option this is what is deserved. Service was trash, didn’t honor the flyer advertised across multiple platforms, 2 waitresses came (spoke) and taken our order but took 40 minutes for the 1st one to do so, then come to find out our order was NEVER put in for drinks or food….so we were unable to get tacos/drink special and properly celebrate Cinco De Mayo….Total time of wasting was 2 hours….we eventually left after we realized how long it was really taking and realized we couldn’t even go anywhere else for food/drinks! It’s was so late by this time, giving grace and wasn’t even deserved.
Waitress: dark skin girl, long braids seemed nice and eager Bonnie…then the other a light skin with short curly hair didn’t get her name tho. ????
The owner/manager NEVER came to speak to the table and we requested. ????
The bathroom was sooo disgusting and we went back multiple times and it still was the same…dirty floors, trash cans overfilled &’ clogged toilets….one of my friends held her pisss ????. Just ghetto.
When we left I reached out to fam who works in the establishment and advised of what went down….i was talked into returning with my friends. So I did, nothing was done about the situation still. I was to the point I was hungry still paid $ and brought a drink or two with a friend and should’ve never did that smh we gracefully said fuxk it and wanted something for all this damn time and I wasn’t getting fast food. ????????♀️
Never again! I should’ve requested my fam from the jump but I seen her busy and gave the other waitress a shot….Biggest mistake! Gratitudity already added should not be done here because the customer service lacks especially after what was seen all last night. My money is earned NOT GIVEN. Nothing was earned last night! Sad, I usually don’t write reviews but I was so disappointed &’ my time was sooo wasted and couldn’t celebrate like I wanted too….so i could not NOT write a review.
I've only been to the Brunch hours, but this place is definitely a vibe! Lamb chops and mimosa's were on point!
They have Happy Hour specials nearly everyday and the food is pretty good. I went on Monday, $0.50 WHOLE wings!! The drinks are pretty standard and the food comes hot and fresh. The crowd gives you pretty much the club vibe, but you can also be ducked off to yourself watching the game with a decent meal. They play good music too, and some nights have live DJs (hip-hop).
My brother paid 700$ for a booth for his birthday and when we got there the OWNER was sitting in HIS BOOTH with a hookah and eating a meal WITH FRIENDS!! Cherry on top HE DIDNT MOVE!! My brother friends had to sit at the bar cause there wasn't any room CAUSE THE OWNER IS PRIDEFUL! The bottle girls had stinky attitudes too! Terrible service.
