The food here is excellent, we had the mixed chicken kebab salad and chips, donnar salad and chips , value box and a small fish and chips.
I phoned the order through and was told it would be ready to pick up in 30mins, got there and it was ready for me.
Everything was cooked to perfection, and tasted sublime.
Staff were absolutely brilliant , we will be definitely be ordering again soon.

At times the atmosphere could do with some work but overall its a lovely chippy and don't get our chip shop from anywhere else

I collected food a number of times and have had a lovely experience each time. The food has consistently been great and the staff are friendly. Highly recommend!

New info see below....... This is not my preferred Fish and Chip shop , but having read in the local paper about the cost of gas and electricity affecting this business , I thought I would give it a try.
Maybe some support will keep the doors open.
This review is an open and very honest review and is based solely on my very recent experience.
I can confirm that the staff were very friendly and the food I ordered which was Cod and Chips , was ready to be served .
The food was piping hot , so it was freshly cooked , and the chips ( which can be variable during the year depending upon potato ) were on the whole firm , crispy , tasty and hot.
Now the fish - this was some of the tastiest COD I have eaten in a long time. The fish on first impression was not the biggest I have had for the money - but it was flaky and chunky and not wet , and not dry - just right.
All in all -the fish was not too oily which was nice , and the serving was just about the right size , although I have been spoilt by bigger portions elsewhere for similar money - but time are difficult so its not a judgement at all.
Now I have just 2 VERY small things to mention , and I must stress that these will not stop me from returning.
1.The vinegar did not really have much flavour - I just couldn't smell or really taste it.
2.The batter in the COD was very soft , almost soggy. I'm used to crispy batter , and this may well be the style of this shop - I don't know.
However - neither of these 2 minor points spoilt my experience , and I will return.

Last visit late Jan 2023. I really want to support this business BUT my COD and chips was swimming in cooking oil. It was so bad that the white paper was see through and the brown paper bag the food was in was saturated.
Sorry but that's not on .
