Soggy, insipid and old tasting fish and chips for £10. There is one simple yet critical rule that must be followed - the batter must be crispy.
Drove past many times when working so decided to visit. Fantastic piece of cod with lovely batter.The portion of chips was so large had to leave a few as full up.Will be back as great value for money.

I am sorry to write this as the food is lovely. Just not enough of it. May be ok for tiny eaters but we like fish and chips once a week and tried it for the first time as we have just moved to the area. The lady put the fish on top of the chips and I couldn’t even see any chips. I even commented ‘is that a small portion’ and she said regular.
I was really disappointed but thought ok we will try them again as they are closest to us so I ordered a large fish and chips last night so my husband and I could share them. Again a real disappointment. Could hardly see any chips under the fish. I should have taken a picture but I was too busy buttering bread as the fish was certainly not a large one.
For the price, and I know everything has gone up but what a disappointment. We will be going elsewhere from now on ????
Worst Chippie ive ever had in my life! reviews seemed good well I was very mistaken, doesnt close til 9pm went around 5.30pm, chips were that greasy thats all you could taste, the pie and curry sauce was microwaved, when I saw what they was doing, asked for my money back as didnt want everything microwaved but was refused. Very overly priced for disguised food!
