Good service. Food is average at best. And unfortunately the bar at the restaurant is frequented by a lot of drunk British 20-year olds, so it's really noisy.

Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience at Victor's. We'd booked a table for 8:15 pm, which was somewhat late but the earliest they had. They then called us up during the evening to say that they had unfortunately made a double-booking and that they could not give us a table before 9:30 pm. We agreed as it was already so late that it would likely be difficult to get a table elsewhere.
To their credit, the delay in our booking meant we showed up a bit more drunk than planned. However, when we arrived, not only were there several free tables — indicating that we could have had an earlier booking — they also failed to in any way acknowledge the double-booking they'd made; we would honestly have presumed that they would offer an apology and/or a small compensation. This lack of hospitality (combined with the drinks we'd already had and being somewhat hangry) made for some pretty poor interactions between the employees and our group including an employee rolling her eyes at us and threatening us with getting thrown out.
Now, that is obviously a pretty bad way to start a dinner, but the food was also hit-and-miss. While the starters, salad, entrecote, and thai chicken were really good (the thai chicken was honestly amazing, I can highly recommend it), the burger patties were cooked to oblivion. I have honestly never seen such a stale and dark grey burger patty served in my life. We were too hungry and unhappy to complain about it, as we had reached a point were we really just wanted to get out of the place to try to salvage our night. They also forgot to serve the potatoes along with the entrecotes.
To sum up, the whole experience was unfortunate. Some of it was a result of our group's behaviour, some of it was a result of the lacklustre service. The food had real highs and real lows, with the burgers not being far from inedible which is of course unacceptable. I hope/expect this was a one-off bad experience as the place seemed to have a nice atmosphere and some real potential gastronomically.

Went for a meal. It's OK, though service was slower than we'd expect, even by local standards. The food seemed a bit mass-produced. Wine list was standard commercial stuff. I'm guessing this is mostly an apres ski bar, catches families and large groups when the chalet staff get their night off on a Wednesday.
Not bad, but nothing great about it either.
