American breakfast was the best chicken fried stake, 2 egg, and taters and I had my biscuit smothered in green chili gravy was fantastic. Same ingredient in the Cowboy burrito. Carnie Adovada plate has big savory chunks of red chili pork. Every thing had great flavor and good proportions.
The service was great. Eggs, ham and salsa were fresh and cooked just right. Buttermilk blueberry pancakes did NOT measure up. Pancakes were very dense. Definitely not light and fluffy. They probably used only buttermilk in the batter, but no water. Worst pancakes I have had in my sixty plus years of life. The taste was ok though.
This was our first time eating here and it was AMAZING. Although the chile wasn’t as hot as I had hoped the food had great taste and our service from Sandra was outstanding. If you’re thinking about trying this place DO IT!
My family and I go to Vick’s Vittles every weekend. The food is delicious and the staff are wonderful! (HINT: the green chile gravy is incredible!) The owners are the most generous people. They perform many charitable acts and seek no recognition. I personally would like to thank EVERYONE at Vick’s Vittles for the love and support they have shown our family.
My family and I visit this restaurant every weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and have done so for many years. The food is excellent, the portions are large and the service is great. The owners, Robert and Lydia are the most caring, charitable, lovely people who do so much for our community and never boast about all they do.
This place could possibly be good I have eaten here three separate times all three times were disappointment you would think for $13 taco salad you would get more than pre-mixed salad and a little bit of hamburger meat I was hoping for some tomatoes avocado sour cream but none of that was on my food. Mediocre at best.
This is a popular place on the weekend! Waited quite a bit but the food was worth it :) very fulfilling and generous portions. I ordered “The Shotgun” and I really liked the country spuds opposed to the hash browns. Update: went back for the broasted pork chop with eggs and the pigs in a blanket pancakes! Delicious once again :)
I spend one morning a week being well fed but the folks at Vick's. Their breakfast menu is huge and everything hits- traditional breakfast fare with a New Mexican twist. Service is reliably great in a dining room that enjoys the wild West.
