A good place to visit is a nice easy flat walk around one or two lakes one has ducks, swans etc. The other was being used for fishing.
Dogs are allowed.
You can also cycle around there is a cafe as well.
You pay in the first car park but this contributes to the upkeep.
The other lake also has a car park.
Pleasant, local Country Park with large car park, play area, cafe, and toilets. Good paths and benches, and a convenient base for a longer circular walk.
Only negative: trails bikes using the bridleway behind the old Clipstone pithead winding gear (Dec 25).
Lovely place for a short walk or a pleasant longer stroll. Cafe Is nice with lovely staff but a little pricey.
Lovely little park and lake. Free parking ( donations to the park if you wish) play park and loads of open space for the kids, plus a cafe. A twenty minute walk around the main lake. It is mostly flat and buggy/bike/pram friendly, but plenty of other routes for walkers and bikers as this park is linked to other places via paths and tracks. Normally tranquil with a good mix of wildlife.
This place has been the best for the last 37yrs I have been visiting, it has changed so much and now my son comes here for walks too...
This park is clean and regularly maintained.

The lake is nice to walk around, and it is always a delight to feed the ducks

Great place for a walk and a picnic. There is a playground and cafe. Parking £1 for the whole day. Dogs allowed.
Fabulous place for a walk. Can be steep in places but the views are worth it at the viewing points. Cafe lovely, too. Parking is free but voluntary payments accepted.
