Didn't have full menu one of us didn't eat because they only had chicken ready this was 12.30pm. Only to be spoken to rudely! No customer service won't be returning. Excellent food, however manner don't match to the foods standards.
First visit this evening while passing by. Thought I'd pop in and see what was on offer.....
First things first. The owner Kevin... Absolute gent! Had a good chat about his background and his ambitions.... Extremely welcoming. Genuine guy!
I took a portion of jerk chicken with steak gravy (jerk gravy wasn't ready this early in the day). Rice and peas. Steamed veg..... Took me straight back to my days on Levenshulme with some extremely good Rasta friends of mine! This is proper home style Caribbean cooking! ????❤️???? More than generous portions. Cooked, seasoned, and flavoured perfectly!
This place, even more so the owner. Deserves to go places!

Rang twice within the space of 3 days. First time I ordered they cancelled my order because the driver “had a crash” which wasn’t convincing at all on the phone. 2nd time trying to order from there I rang after an hour and 45 minutes of waiting to be told my order is non existent and kept asking me if I was sure if I actually rang up and ordered. Absolute joke, no organisation skills whatsoever.
First time ordering from vibes and oh my.. they was so polite and helpful and the food was by far the best I have had in a very long time 100% I would recommend

I ordered on justeat and the food was really nice and tasty. Massive improvement from
the last time I ordered and potion size was great. Thank you will be ordering again soon! Delivery driver was also pleasant.
I've eaten takeaway from here twice with no problem but that was before I knew how filthy they are and I won't be buying a thing from them again until they actually listen to the Food Standards Agency inspection staff and up their game. They were last inspected in Sep 2022 apparently [not sure but probably a more regular than usual inspection from the previous ones as they failed to satisfy most hygiene requirements on those] and they still haven't listened it seems. Latest scores/findings are 'improvement necessary' on both 'Hygienic Food Handling' and also 'Cleanliness and condition of facilities and building'.
I'd say go ahead and stuff your face with their food if you're happy with that.
I however, am most certainly not.
They do now get a 'Good' rating for 'Management of Food Safety' so perhaps they are on the right track. Who knows. For now I'll cook my own though.................... not ready to croak yet!
