First time at Via in Connecticut. Our server had great recommendations! We had lamb chops, hot honey chicken wings and honey glazed brussel sprouts. Everything was good! The atmosphere when entering was trendy and fun. The lights and the lip chair where you could take pictures also added to the inviting scene of the restaurant. Would definitely go back to try other items on the menu!
Went here tonight after having a crumby experience at elm city social. DJ was wonderful, bouncer wasn’t a try hard but checked ID’s properly and communicated well. Sat at a table and played cards with friends and listened to a great DJ. My only complaint was that it was $25+ dollars for two cranberry vodkas. Other than that we had one of the best nights we’ve had in a while! Will definitely be coming back!
We live locally and visit Via often. The staff is incredibly friendly , attentive and welcoming. Brunch is the best. Bottomless bloody Mary’s and mimosas. Our brunch favorites include breakfast pizza and the basic b&tch. Cocktail menu is a lot of fun. The food is exceptional. Really great place for a celebration
The ambience and look of Gastrobar is great. Very creative setup and cool decor. The food on the other hand isn’t really worth the prices. I tried a ton of small plates and nothing was worth the 200 dollar check in the end. Even the drinks were a little disappointing because of the glasses they came in. Overall, I would come for drinks but skip the food.
AMBIANCE!!! This is the perfect spot for a ladies night, happy hour or a date night. Small plate choices and Happy Hour menu is drool worthy! Plus!! $4 drinks! The staff is attentive and not over-bearing (they've obviously been trained to perfect this). I love that we weren't rushed! I'll be back!!
Decent food, decent ambience, decent service. Wasn’t particularly wowed by any item but again, it was all decent. My drink was delicious. The plant wall was cool. Might give it another try in the future.
Fairly new restaurant bar, from how they made it sound, it's very good, total class joint with a casual feel. Customers seemed to be enjoying themselves and total professionals serving the food and drinks. We got the fried artichokes and muscles in a coconut curry broth, very good but the muscles were tiny. The artichoke garlic dipping stuff had too much mayo but was mostly tasty.
Accommodated a large group of us for dinner. The food for being small plates is easily shared between people. The drinks are fun names and taste just as delicious. The food was great! Such a cute atmosphere. Def will be back.
