Second time dining here. Looks like they did some remodeling from last year, and the place looks great. Plus outdoor seating if you prefer. Our server was great, food was excellent. They do charge for pop refills, which is strange, but oh well. We had a great dinner and a great time. Will definitely be back next time we pass thru the area

This trip, I had the 2 lb. Crab legs, very good! We had an order of the jumbo perch bites & a pulled pork sandwich that a local told us about last year & it was delicious!
Great place for a meal out. We really liked the atmosphere of the patio. The fish and chips were very good!
Fantastic food!!! Walleye and perch was AMAZING, GREAT OWNER, PERCH WAS SOOOOO GOOD, IM COMING BACK AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK!!! GREAT ATMOSPHERE WITH MANY GOOD MENU ITEMS AND A GREAT SELECTION OF TAP BEER AND WINE!!!
V.I. Grill has a huge outdoor patio that is very spacious. We had the Villager burger and the chicken pesto linguine. Both were delicious. The later hours are a bonus since many other Sutton's Bay restaurants close at 9 pm or early. Would recommend!
I guess we were her last year at the same time but I must have been too hammered to remember. So I was a little hesitant, in a sober state. Had the fish sandwich which was great. To make it outstanding I recommend they douse the tomatoes with a little vinegar. I recommend this place.
This is a gem and you mus try!! We had stopped in previously for a drink and popcorn perch— they are addictive. Our wait person Hannah was kind and fun and asked us to come back for Sunday family dinner. We just did and it was $15 for adults and something like $8 for kids —ARE YOU KIDDING!! They want it to be affordable and WOW - a guy playing guitar, fresh lightly battered cod with homemade tarter sauce,brisket -tender with nice BBQ sauce, penne pasta with a meaty sauce, fresh veggies, homemade real mashed potatoes, chicken bites for the kids, corn and tater tots and ALL you can EAT. Everything was beyond good and the staff-Madison and the mgr Becky were awesome.
This is a must try and wonderful place we will be at frequently - would love to give it a 10
We enjoyed a nice lunch at the V.I. Grill consisting of a chicken quesadilla, chicken wings, and beer. Very tasty food and excellent service. Thank you!
