Very casual. Fun bingo and meat raffles various days. Food... don't expect a salad. There is bar pizza available and kitchen with limited menu at certain times. I'm not sure about that specifically. But dinners are reasonably priced and served with a smile.
I 5 stared the atmosphere because it's unpretentious and casual. Sometimes casual is great if you just want to go out and have a drink and unwind.
They do have pull tabs and an outdoor screened in area. (Mostly for smoking)
Watch for bands, live music, and street dances!
Favorite bar in town. Staff is amazing. We always have a blast there, either Bingo, Electronic Pulltabs, Dancing, the food--fish tacos ! Always there to help out with great causes related to Veterans and other supportive Benefits and Banquets. I really appreciate you all.
You can spend all your rent money, wake up the next day with a stranger in your bed, throw up, miss work, or get a DWI and forfeiture your vehicle and lose your job, but the VFW is a nonprofit organization, and it's all for charity, so there is some good and positive that comes from it.
My watering hole! Love this place, staff is what keeps me coming back! Great peopel here! Also good prices on the great food and drinks.
How is a good time with friendly and attentive staff
I always liked this place despite the thousands I lost over the years on pulltabs..until tonite..i had a soda and the bartender came busting out in the smoking area screaming about how I can't have that here. I threw it away..no big deal.. But I wonder..why would you talk to a patron who spends a lot of money here like that? Weird..
OMG this place is disgusting !! Bar swill leaking into a tub under the sink, rotting wooden table legs and black mold everywhere !!! Seriously, you don't need to worry about Covid, you need to worry about mold spores in the air. The city needs to close this place.
Came to the VFW for lunch, as I heard it was good. I had a great burger and the other menu items looked delicious! I will definitely come back to eat here. One of the better burgers I have had in Fergus Falls.
