I have been ordering food from this establishment for a very long time. The wings will ALWAYS be my favorite item on the menu. I moved to the next cpunty over but I will go out of my way to grab some delicious wings! The pizza is pretty darn good too!
We (Southern Cycles) have been getting our Saturday lunches for all the guys in the shop here for over 8 years now and they have always been great! We normally get their wings, which are the best in town, but occasionally get their pizza or subs, these are as well exceptional! Thank you Cafe Verona for your many years of continued service to our wonderful town of Apopka!!
Awesome local family owned restaurant. We ordered a large deluxe pizza and spaghetti. The pizza was great! I didn't try the spaghetti, but the fact that my wife and daughter didn't leave any remaining tells me it was also good. Happy to have found this place and will certainly be my go-to pizza place!
First time eating here. Placed take out order for 12" meatball sub, 12" Italian sub and calamari. Order was ready when I arrived. Subs were much larger than expected and had good amount of meat and topping. Calamari was crisp and tender. Order was correct as ordered. Will be returning.
Ordered delivery tonight 5/3/24. It’s the first time we tried this place and the last time. Ordered a calzone and chicken ziti Alfredo. The pasta dish was terrible. Took two bites and threw it away. The garlic break was a soft hoagie bun with garlic and butter. The calzone was edible at best. The funnel cake fries were chewy. Not sure how you accomplish that. Must have been fried in the morning and served 18 hours later. When I called to let them know they were rude and non-accommodating. There are much better local options than canned sauce and cheap noodles.
The Chicken Parm, Garlic Bread and Salad with house made vinegrette are absolutely incredible!!! Thank you Bridget for the warm hospitality and DELICIOUS FOOD!!!! We will definitely be back!!!
Read about this place online. Great reviews so I tried it. Ordered two Sausage subs, one with Mariana sauce + mozz and the other with peppers, onions & mustard. 5 super Stars! I could taste everything equally & it is delish!. Oh and this place has Muffulettas! Next time for sure!
When you're in Downtown Apopka make a point to visit Verona Cafe. Great takeout and dine in options for high quality hot and cold sub sandwiches, pizzas, salads, and dinners. Atmosphere is very simple but you will love the food so don't miss out. I recommend the Philly Cheese Steak. Delicious, reasonably priced, and generously portioned.
