Best KPortal Reviews

I’m still doing my homework, but so far, Verde is the best Mexican restaurant that I’ve discovered in Indianapolis. There are some wonderful items on the menu. The lunch special items I’ve had have been okay, the quality food is in the specialty items. Very clean. Modern. Great vibes. Service could be better. Prices are pushing it a little. Will I return? Yes!

I had an incredible dining experience at Verde Flavors of Mexico Ironworks! The margarita was delightful, perfectly balanced and refreshing. The patio seating was perfect, offering a lovely atmosphere to enjoy our meal. The service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff who made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy delicious Mexican cuisine in a great setting!
My wife and I just finished a wonderful dinner earlier this afternoon after searching for an apartment to support a new work location. After finding the apartment, we told them we were headed to eat at a Mexican restaurant we saw nearby. They said the food was good, but if you want a spot with a better vibe and better food, try Verde at Ironworks. Amazing recommendation.
Paige was our wait person. A breathe of fresh air, a warming personality that makes you feel as if you are the only customer in the restaurant. She listens both to your food desires and inability to make a decision and translates that to culinary delights.
Verde has a very compact and flavor packed menu. We had some of the best corn chips I have ever tasted and queso I have ever tasted. My wife had the Oysters, an appetizer as her meal and was filled..she was absolutely in heaven. I had the lamb, cooked medium, and it was nothing short of delightful. Both meals were packed with flavor. Very delectable..the flavors that make you come back.
To it off we had the cheesecake. Absolute winner, one of the best cheesecakes servings I have ever had. Almost forgot, the margaritas were absolutely the bomb and I had an old Fashioned, Paige said it was smokey and it was S M O K E Y!!!!
They are so thoughtful that they carried over the ambience to one of the most calming mens rooms I have ever been in!!!
Reservations are made here unless you want the bar area which we did and were not disappointed.
How this place has more than one location and was as busy as it was and beyond me. But I would not recommend this place to anyone.
For starters, the service was horrendous, once finally seated, we waited for over 10 mins for our waiter to arrive, once she finally did, she did not take any of our order and then made us wait for another 15 mins to come back, by then we had order everything at once. Someone else delivered our app (Guac), she said nothing and dropped it off. ZERO flavor. Not a single drop of lime or salt. And it was overpriced. We also ordered the chicken fajitas and my partner ordered a combination plate. Once our food arrived, his drink had still never been delivered, and again, our waiter had still not come to check on us and someone else delivered our food, not a LICK of seasoning. The chicken had no been seasoned at all, had to use the salt and pepper at the table. That's ridiculous for what they are charging. Not to mention the salsa was incredibly weak as well.
On top of all of that, our bill was over $70 and the waiter started finally coming around once the check came and started being overly friendly to get a good tip. Which is just cringe. It was incredibly disappointing. The only things this place had going for it was the atmosphere, it was gorgeous in there and the plating. But otherwise, do NOT waste your time. This place is not worth your hard earned money.
It was my birthday and never have I been treated so rudely, ignored, or had a business that didn’t want my money!
So cousin and I had been talking about this place for the day of birthday cause we wanted the tomahawks and of course I tried ordering it as he. My waitress said for my $150.00 I could not have it as the menu stated with potatoes, I asked her to double check if she didn’t mind and she insisted there was no need! When I was first set down, she asked what do I want to drink and I asked for recommendations, she then asked if I like tequilas and I said yes she stated well I can order anything that’s what they sell! Did I mention it was my birthday! So it was the most awful service I ever had in my life and it was the worst dinner for anyone to have on their birthday! The food I had to settle for was okay but when you have bad service disrespectful service it was not enjoyable night! My waitress would speak to my table and ignore me I’d how I offended this woman from walking in the door but a horrible experience! And I didn’t get my tomahawk! Never heard anyone serving a steak with no potatoes!
Left some pictures of some of the stuff we ordered, but I was not Happy day of my birthday with the restaurant I picked! That’s post have mannerisms and class! I or my guest did not receive!
Very FUN! Energetic and happy place. Service was great from the host to our table food and drink service. The food was great and plated in a manner where taking pictures was effortless.
As I walked into this local restaurant, I was greeted, and seated, but it seemed to take a while for my server to acknowledge me, and when I was ready for refills it was a challenge. My food was delicious and cooked just the way I requested it.
Came here on a Friday night around 7ish with a few girlfriends. We did not have a reservation but didn’t have to wait long to be seated. The place has a fun vibe and had a DJ playing.
I tried the margarita flight and had the Cochinita Pibil for dinner. When my dinner came out the molcajete had a fire burning under it. It was a really fun presentation. It tasted delicious. We stayed for a second round of drinks too.
