This company butchered my car, waisted my time and lied to me!!
(The first photo is the initial damage I came with/ the others what the shop did while they had my car)
I forgot to mention in this he hit it so hard it smashed against another car not only damaging the passenger but driver.
I waited a while to write this, but it’s a long time coming.. I gave my car to this VAB to repair for an insurance incident. Not only did I have a to wait 7 months for my appt but when the time came the man at the desk had no clue who I was, so the lady who made my appt never put me into the system or something. They did get me in tho so I can be thankful for that, but that and only that.. I was calling while it was there for updates and they were cool with me at first. Then about 3 weeks in I start to ask what’s holding it up and they gave me 10 different excuses about waiting for parts, and once one part came in the next part was still not there and so on with that part struggle. Also this shop is directly across the street from where I was working at the time so I would pass it and see it at times, well one day about week 4 I drive past and i see it out front and this now the entire passenger side is smashed, while my car was there the manger or who ever was running this place has ran into my vehicle with another customers car and had almost no explanation for this for almost another week. When I do get an explanation they just tried to blow it off. They told me they would fix this and also pay for the rental, frustrating but I understand mistakes happen so I agreed. Well not only did the first spot they were supposed to “fix” look like absolute garbage but the parts he was responsible for fixing also look like absolute garbage (panel gaps, orange peel paint, over spray over my entire roof/sunroof, there’s what look like a sand paper scratch down my passage door window frame, there’s primer spots all over other fenders as well, I even had interior peace’s not properly installed back) not to mention while I was watching them fix my car they had left it outside with no doors on it for 3 days.. so after having my car for almost 2 1/2 months I get nervous and I’m trying to figure what’s really going on, my main concern was I wouldn’t have a rental bc my insurance only covered it for the first accident up to 30 days and sense he said he would cover everything I didn’t report the accident and damage he had caused. (I know now this is where I messed up) i had come to get the car finally and brought with me the recipe from the week long car rental I paid for out of pocket. And this man tried NOT paying for my rental and would NOT give me any kind of discount or compensation. It wasn’t till I threatened to get a lawyer did he pay for the rental and not all of it but only 5 days of it he would cover… I had to get rides to work, I had to miss days I had to cancel trips. And this man sent me out the door like I was the bad guy. Unfortunately I don’t have the resources to peruse this legally or otherwise I would. Please save yourself the time and money, go with any other shop. I heard such good things till this
George and his crew did a terrific job on fixing two separate accidents on my highlander. And I was blown away with how clean my highlander was when I picked it up! I highly recommend Venice Auto Body
After becoming a senior, and with the crazy Florida traffic, I have a lot of fender benders and have repeatedly taken my car to Venice Auto Body. The manager George is a pleasure to work with, the entire staff is friendly and true professionals. They do outstanding work at a price that beats other body shops!
I want to offer my recommendation to Venice Auto Body and Paint (ABP). After a mailbox jumped out and damaged my tail light ????, ABP quickly and very economically installed a replacement tail light. Great work George owner and Ryan technician. ????
They did a great job with a very reasonable turn around. This is the second time we have used them for body work and will definitely use them again if we need any in the future.
I had substantial damage to my Tucson from hurricane Ian and this shop did an amazing job with the repairs and repaint. Looks like brand new. George was very accommodating, making sure everything was just right. They even vacuumed out my car and wiped down the dash before I picked it up. Highly recommend this shop. Thank you George for making things right!
George is professional, courteous and extremely fair. We brought our BMW in for an estimate to repair a front bumper scrap. George looked at it (plastic bumper) and retrieved this magic solution which took off the other cars paint from my bumper.
No Charge and it looks great! If I had the bumper painted it would have cost between $500-$1K. Highly recommend!
My vehicle suffered a lot of damage from hurricane Ian. So glad I took my car to Venice Auto and paint. The owner looked over my car and the estimate my insurance gave me which was not even 25 percent of the cost to repair. He called my insurance and got another adjuster out and made sure my car was returned to its original condition. Can't thank him enough. Workmanship is top notch quality. Great prices. Highly recommend him and his shop.
