Not from Baltimore but was looking for some good soul food. Read the reviews and decided to try. This spot did not disappointment. Food had flavor, fresh, good portion sizes for price. I love me a good little spot with good food. Will be back ! ~Betsy~
I just want to say the food here is so goooddd !!! Not just this meal I’m doing the review on but anything I ever got from here was 10/10. This right here is the Curry salmon platter. When I tell you the taste is so unique but addicting i mean it. Everyone needs to try this meal at least once in their life!
This was the best catfish I’ve ever purchased and had prepared for me! The rice and beans were phenomenal and the plantain was cooked to perfection! When you go, please keep in mind all food is MADE TO ORDER! This is fresh cooked food with fresh ingredients. Perfection of this level takes time! Call ahead or order online and go pick up if you’re in a hurry. 10/10 and I’m going back again and again!
Every time I order here he does not disappoint! The food is delicious!! I have been coming here since 2018 and will continue to do so! He makes the food to order so you will have some wait time but it’s always better served hot! The seasoning is there! It’s a great place to come and enjoy American, Caribbean and African cuisines. Love it here can’t wait to order my fufu and egusi next time!
Randomly tried this place when I moved to the area. Everything is made fresh to order so you may wait about 15-20 mins, but it’s worth it! The FRIED JOLLOF RICE!!! Amen!!! I’ve tried the wings and whiting. I will continue to come back to try everything lolol. Love the food! You can tell it is made with love!

He cooks the food with so much love and pride! Cozy atmosphere and offers Caribbean, African, and Soul food. Tastes fresh and delicious, I can’t wait to keep coming back :)
I stumbled upon this gem while looking for good soul food in the area. The food was amazing to say the least. I had the stewed chicken with rice & peas, cabbage and plantains. When I tell you the food did not disappoint. I had a chance to speak with the owner and a few customers while my meal was prepared. They made me feel very welcomed and shared some of their favorites off the menu. Don’t forget the ginger lemonade! It was so refreshing and much needed after a long day of working. I’ll definitely be returning to indulge in other items from their menu.
