Every time except this last time I have always had trouble getting into the East garage I've always parked at the wrong place totally messed up so this time I done my investigation myself.
And duh guess where the East garage is the entrance to the East garage is right across from the main entrance on medical center East. Go figure that's why they call it the East garage.
All the other times that I went over there it was somebody else doing the direction. But if you know where the main entrance is to the hospital then all you got to do is look across the street and there's the East garage. That is the people that know how to follow directions.
But they are really good and the employees there try to help you out as best they can and also I just want to put this in there if you're told to go up on the 3rd floor.
The elevators don't run that way you got to go to the second floor first that was another a goose chase that we were involved in that they don't give directions right.
so you go up to the second floor from the garage on the elevator and then you go around the corner from the elevator that you get off on the second floor and you turn to the right, when you get off of the elevator. there will be someone there at a desk. Ask them where the other elevators .
If by chance there's nobody there just go straight forward on and then you'll turn right again and there is the set of elevators.
And for those people that are looking for the surgery room that's on the third floor.
And you have to ask because if you don't ask they're not going to offer to tell you nothing.
I don't know why they don't give simple directions it's just crazy.
Working on a central garage so had to park.in another garage. Someone gave us a ride in a golf cart but no one was around to take us back at 4. Nice office, staff and Doctors.
I had a surgery and the team was incredibly nice to me. My surgery went well and they did a good job of calming my nerves since my first ever surgery was with them. Everything was done efficiently and I was out of the hospital even a little earlier than they told me it would be!
Amazing stuff hands down. Can't say enough about the hard working nurses and Drs at Vanderbilt Medical Center both adult department and childrens.
Wonderful facility, physicians, nurse practitioners & staff. All are supportive, knowledgeable and caring. I willingly drive 4 hour round trips to Vanderbilt.
Been going there 10 years without a negative experience. Never liked a hospital before. Love Vandy!
This hospital always has my best opinions and gratitude. They are lifesavers, EVERY SINGLE DAY. I owe my life to them and do NOT wish to ever go anywhere else to a hospital. These people know how to deal with me and my ailments. No one else does. People reading this if you or your lived ones are needing fantastic care this is where they need to be. They believe in keeping family informed as much as the patient wants. My sister often new results and tests about my care before the nurses did. She would leave work and go home and get right on the app. I live 3 and a half hours away but would still rather go here. Thank God for them.
Dad had a wreck and was in a coma at the hospital . I drove down in my van. Didn't have much money so I slept in this garage about 2 weeks. Just found a darkened corner on the lower level and stealth camped. Hospital bathrooms to freshen up. Hospital McDonald's for breakfast.
Dad eventually came out of the coma and thanks to this parking garage I was able to be there when he woke up. He was transferred to our home town hospital. It was touch and go for several months, but eventually it came up go.
Miss you Dad.
No longer accessible from 21st St; only entrances from Medical Center Drive. Low ceilings, small spaces. Expect to drive around to check if someone is leaving.
