Marie did my bridal hair and my bridal party’s hair for my wedding and couldn’t have been more fantastic to work with! We all wanted different styles and have different hair textures and she created beautiful looks for each of us. There were 4 of us total and she got us all done in less than 3 hours which was quite a feat! She has a really great calming presence as well. Would definitely recommend her and Val’s for your hair care needs in Goldsboro!
Went in after moving here from out of state. Madison worked MAGIC on my hair. I went from a red head to strawberry blonde. The intent is to get back to my blonde hair with least amount of damage. The salon is clean and everyone is welcoming. They know most if not all of their clients by first name. I was tired so I didn’t talk much today but I enjoyed my makeover ❤️ Thank you Madison and see you soon!
I showed Val a couple of pictures to give her an idea on what I like and explained what was important to me as far as time to spend fixing my hair. She listen, asked questions and boy did she do a great hair cut and perm. I got the volume I needed without having to spend forever for the upkeep. She took off 11 inches of hair and Bam...I feel like a new person. Thank you Val.

Best hair salon that I have ever been to before in all my life!! I hacked at my hair myself, trying to correct the mistakes from the previous stylist, and I butchered my hair. I called this salon because the reviews were fantastic, and they were very kind and understanding of my situation, and they scheduled me for the following day. I wasn't sure they'd be able to fix the mess I'd made of myself, but Maria worked her magic, and she made a masterpiece out of me! Truly, she's an artist, and meeting her was divine intervention! I will be back, and I will be bringing my daughters as well! Thank you, Maria and Val's Hairport!!
This is my second time here and they are just extraordinary. If you would like color done definitely go to Val's! They are friendly, accommodating and very good at what they do! Thanks again for a great cut and color! I will not go anywhere else

This was my first time and I needed a touch up BAD… i wanted to try a new place and put my info in for a quote. I was messaged back by Tara who answered all of my questions, gave me a quote, and scheduled me for a free consult soon after.
The consult was quick and precise which was perfect for me since i only had an hour lunch break and needed time to drive to and from work in between.
I was scheduled literally two days after.
Walking in initially for my appointment, every staff member took the moment to pause and greet me. Tara was already set and ready for me.
This Tara is a true gem, lemme tell ya.
She is precise, quick, and very educative!
She knows exactly what she’s doing and is so easy to connect with.
This whole salon made me literally feel right at home. The atmosphere is genuine and unmatched by any other I’ve ever been to.
My touch up’s are usually time consuming given the amount of hair on my head, but I didn’t even realize the time nor did I count down the minutes to being done for once!
By the end of it all I left happy, confident, and refreshed.
And the prices aren’t ridiculous!!!
No more overpriced cuts and guilty tips for me!
Tara and Val’s Salon will definitely be receiving my services from here on out.

If you are looking for top notch, knowledgeable people who care about the health of your hair, you need to come here. Val has cared for my hair in all its different conditions and has done a superb job. I experienced hair loss and other issues due to medical conditions and she has been with me through it all! The stylists here have a terrific knowledge base for coloring, special treatments and more. Alyssa is the nail tech and she does a lovely job on my toes everytime! They have message therapy available as well by a very highly qualified therapist. Stop by and talk to them. Val, Marie or Kim will take good care of your hair. They do great military cuts also and are right by base!
