Pros and cons with public transportation. Pro is is free, the busses are generally always on time and the drivers are pleasant and helpful. Con - Saturday service doesn't start until eleven am and only two routes run. Super big con- is there us no bus serving Sunday at all. People still have jobs, errands and other activities requiring public transportation for those without vehicles or funds to pay for an Uber. I'm all for transit workers having regular days off but is there no budget for part time weekend employees? Maybe start charging fares again to meet their salary for Sunday drivers?
Great employees and drivers friendly from the minute you get on the bus to your destination. I’ve only been in Walla Walla for ten months and I got to meet Josh and Jackie on the Pleasant street loop, both of them are amazing and just outstanding in making sure their customers have a good time. Awesome community resource. Free fare for a few years. Able to catch the. Us almost anywhere within a reasonable time frame.
I love that my little hometown has a ???? system in place. I also like the fact that unlike big cities the drivers are friendly and helpful along with making long term friendships with the customers. Ive been riding VT for 30 plus years. Overall i enjoy it.
Great place to catch a bus. Plenty of parking outside. Plenty of seating on the bus and there's places for the handicap to sit.
The bus drivers are very friendly and I thank them daily
The drivers know their routes, are very courtious, and riding is easier than driving.
