Valley Liquor Rocks. The facility has a decently stocked mini mart with basic food items, t-shirts, lottery tickets, and souvenirs. There is a restaurant area with loads of meal options like, fish n chips, burgers, breakfast burritos, salads. Meals can include burger, fries and a fountain drink for around $12. The 3rd area is a Chevon gas station. One stop shopping. And the employees are kind!!! Go at lunchtime and you'll find all of the construction workers in town.
Their burgers seem like quality beef. I usually have a turkey burger. It is very tasty and good quality meat. Their fries are well seasoned and fresh. Meals come with a 20 oz. drink. A great burger go-to place for a regular burger with onions ,tomatoes ,lettuce and pickles. The onions ,etc. are easy to remove if you desire as the burgers are served open faced.
I was craving a beef burger, not the norm for me. Lived here 20 yrs. Shame on me, it took me that long to have 1/4 lb burger and fries from valley liquor. Both were delicious, seasoned fries good quality beef. Nicely wrapped up to go. This is the place to go in LO for a burger!
Great classic hamburger. It comes with fries and a soda.. prices have increased a bit but it still worth it.
This place is a liquor store, gas station and small sit down restaurant all combined into one. I came in as I saw some good reviews of the food on yelp. I ordered the Philadelphia cheesesteak and sat down. After sitting down I could smell this strong odor that smells exactly like those wafers that they put in the men’s urinals so I moved a couple tables over. (Problem solved) the cheesesteak came with seasoned fries. I got to say the Sammy and fries were pretty good and actually rather inexpensive for the amount of food they serve you.
Note to owners “please wash your windows and do something about that unique smell”
Don't buy into the hype surrounding Sylvester's; go up tenth street one block and get a much better deal on a burger that won't make you want a shower afterwards. The liqour selection is also excellent.
I was here the other day looking for some specific alcohol and just what I wanted. Not only did I find it the price was way less than I expected.
Great folks here, they have surprisingly amazing burgers too!
