Cozy place and comforting mostly handmade food. You can order a tenderloin and split it easily between two people, possibly even three. The handmade onion rings are very good too
Three stars because the various times I have came here, breakfast has been "okay". The food has came to me somewhat cold, and food should be at least somewhat warm when it is served to customers. The waiters are always very nice, and the restaurant itself has a very home-like feeling.
Stopped for a late lunch on our way home. Cute small town cafe. Food was fantastic and prices were reasonable. Was pleasantly surprised. Only complaint was the bathroom was freezing, I stood in there for a second contemplating on how bad I had to go I actually just decided to wait for a 30 minute drive home. Other than the bathroom I would highly recommend the food. Service was great too.
Food was pretty darn good, especially for being in a pretty rural area without much around, the Valley Inn has a great pork tenderloin sandwich. The breading had great flavor and the tenderloin was juicy. You'll definitely need a take-home box.
Food was good. Portions were generous. Prices were very reasonable. We contacted them in advance, and they were able to accommodate a dairy allergy. Simple but good food.
Nice place but we tried 2 times to have a tenderloin there. The first time we were too early and the second time at 11:30 in the morning they were OUT! We did have a good breakfast once.
The Mrs. and I decided to make the 35 minute drive after the restaurant was featured on a local news channel. We weren't the only ones with that idea because the place was packed with people who had seen the same broadcast. Even though there were more appetites than usual filling the tables, we were seated quickly. We both were eager to try their homemade tenderloin after seeing it on TV and other people's plates. It was MASSIVE and could easily be made into two full sized tenderloin sandwiches. Although its size is what got my attention, its taste was not to be outdone. This was no county fair tenderloin; it was thick and juicy with a golden, crispy fried crust sitting atop a large toasted bun with pickles, onions, tomatoes, and lettuce on the side. Their onion rings are more like onion strings and are incredibly tasty. It was well worth the drive and we look forward to making a return.
Always worth the drive! One word. Tenderloin!
