Just ordered basic breakfast today nothing fancy but it was delicious. Very busy spot so you might have to wait a bit. Staff was super nice.
I rarely ever eat at the same place twice while in a vacation, and I rarely give fivestars. I have to say though, I absolutely adore this little diner. The ambiance is great, the employees are welcoming, attentive and knowledgeable, and most importantly the food is wonderful. So far I've had their Eggs Benedict, and the biscuits and gravy which were both delicious. I will certainly be returning tomorrow morning to eat here again on my last day before I leave.
More is more here, at least when it comes to decor. There are cutsey signs and memorabilia on every surface, including the ceiling, restrooms, and the menus. The whole vibe is traditional, conservative Americana. The service is very, very pleasant and they seem eager to please. Three of us ordered two salads and an egg plate. One salad arrived with the wrong mix of ingredients and slightly undercooked grilled chicken (they did not charge us for this and happily replaced it after a long delay), but the other salad was fine/OK, except for the bottled dressing. The egg dish was pretty good. If you visit, I recommend you skip the salads and order a traditional breakfast plate.
The Valley omettte with veggies was exactly what I needed to fuel another day of wine tasting. Cute decor and great service. And you gotta get the biscuits and gravy with breakfast.
Have eaten here twice, and both times the food was very good and very large portions. They have a really large menu. Would like to come with friend to share a plate and hang out; it is chill and the waitress was friendly. This pic is the country fried stake with eggs and potatoes ($14 before tip)
It’s the ROCKVILLE Kitchen & Bar… New owners and still serving a Fantastic breakfast. Always a great place to eat after a hike at the Rockville Regional Park, about a mile or less away.
A really nice out of the way place to get really good food with great service ????????
Nice place with great vibe. Food is good but not grate. Service is a little slow but very friendly. All in all a good spot for brunch
