Food rating here is based on the area. For this area the food was better than expected. Not a large city and we found this place by chance while on a motorcycle ride. Staff was friendly and good was better than we anticipated. They are also priced fairly. Unfortunately they do not serve alcohol in Sundays but that's a city ordinance not their business decision. For the area and the happenstance way in which we found this restaurant we were pleased overall.
The food was amazing!! The drinks were well priced and absolutely amazing! Went back a second time and they did not disappoint. The drinks were amazing!
I initially had dismal expectations because of the location. Let me say this place was phenomenal. The food was absolutely delicious. The meat was tender and cooked properly. The tomatillo sauce was just right. Everything had tons of flavor. One of the best Mexican restaurants I've ate at in little long time.
Seated right away and our server was on top of it! Service was very quick and the food was pretty good. The salsa that came with the chips had a nice little kick to it. Plenty of choices to pick from, like most Mexican restaurants. I would go back out I was in the area again.
Their food is delicious the only thing is I like the mild sauce and there mild is a little too hot. Other than that it's a great place to eat Mexican food in a small town next to interstate I-20 Heflin Alabama.
The taco salad was delicious and full of shredded chicken. The shell was lightly fried and still hot - not greasy at all. I ate more than half of the shell. So much chicken that I couldn’t finish it all - and I was hungry. Nicely decorated inside. Good friendly servers who check back on you. Will definitely eat there again.
Second trip here 30 may...manager needs to train servers... still service DOESNT value selling dessert..wont ask if you want dessert...i ordered it with my meal to insure I would get it.

The food was good but nobody asked me for dessert and nobody brought me a ticket I would have bought something for dessert that they said something to me. The food was good the chips and salsa were good I was actually passing by there yesterday and thought I should stop but I didn't have time
Service is quick and portions are large. Great place for a fast sit down meal. Presentation is above most Mexican restaraunts.
