Went to get some fish tacos introduced them to my co worker and all he kept saying was damn Gilbert these tacos ate amazing. Best Fish tacos in North Count hands down if you don't believe me go try 1 da Chipotle sauce on top is what makes dem 2nd to none.
Stopped by here late on a Sunday night right before closing. Ordered a Surf & Turf Burrito and a fried fish taco. Sometimes ordering this late at many places will result in a overcooked mess but the burrito was surprisingly good. Plenty of meat & shrimp. The fried fish taco wasn't very crispy but considering I had to bring it home first before eating, that's probably expected. Docked a star for not having correct pricing on the menu. Burrito marked as $10.25 on the board, but it priced at $13.00 on the receipt. Fish taco price was correct.
When I tell you that THIS is the spot for authentic, excellent quality, AND affordable dining!!! Service was awesome and staff was not only hard working but pleasant!!! Wonderful spot if you're a local or visiting Oceanside like myself.
Best burrito I may have ever eaten, lived in Southern California my whole life. Lady at the counter was super nice and of course best salsa selection iv seen anywhere.
You know what really grinds my gears? When local businesses have their phone number listed but never answer it or leave it off the hook all the time. I find this an issue with all Valerie's locations!
????Valeries Taco Shop sucks! The cooks screw my order up everytime thru Doordash. Wrong drink, wrong meat. No utensils or hot sauce even when I select that option on the Doordash app.
When I call with a complaint, all I get is "oh sorry" ????????????
This is one of the closest spots to my work so I frequent this place. My go to dish is the shredded chicken rice bowl and it never disappoints. The quantity is perfect and great prices. I also love the little sauce bar where you can pick from about 5 different kinds and as many as you want! The Chimichanga and the soft tacos are really good too!
Valerie’s is very good. All of their food is top tier but the fish taco is amazing.
