A hidden gem ????. A modern well designed bar which is alot larger inside than you would think when viewing from the front entrance on the main street. Continuing to walk through the stylish bar leads to a garden decorated with greenery. Seating in the garden is chairs, tables, wooden booth huts and velvet furnishings for style and comfort. The whole garden is enclosed with a roof and sides of clear PVC providing protection from wind, rain and insects etc whilst also being warmer. Heaters and throws are provided for cooler days. Ask about their two cocktails for £10 on their drinks menu through the week. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable Hassan gave great advice and made the best 'Old Fashioned' cocktail we've tried - Highly recommend. Our drinks were accompanied with free peanuts. This is a hidden warmer garden oasis not to be missed, a great place to relax and chill, and no doubt we will be back.
Didn't stay long as I couldn't, but I would have. Drinks are reasonably priced and the place is clean and tidy and the decor is unusual in a good way.
Really nice little bar. It was a bit dark inside so we moved to the surprisingly large outdoor seating out the back. Bar manager was really friendly +helpful and he even put on the music we wanted as it's was my wife's bday.

Absolutely shocking. 1 of the worse mojito's I've ever had in my life. A mojito is my go to cocktail every time I'm out whether its Cardiff, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Orlando, Paris or London ( tried a good few). Went to Anatolian restaurant for food in the afternoon & ordered a mojito there & it was one of the best i've had, definitely 9 out of 10 so was looking forward to 1 in a proper cocktail bar but boy was I disappointed, big time. No effort was put into it at all. All she did was put huge mint leaves into a glass (didn't grinde/pulp them to get the mint flavour out of them, Anatolian did) put 2 lime slices in & about 4 cubes of ice, that was it. Very bitter taste to it. My daughter & cousin both had the candyfloss cocktail as my cousin had had it before in there & said it was lovely but that was a let down too. Both of them took 1 mouthful & said it was terrible. Was so bad my cousin gave it to her husband as couldn't drink it. He had an expresso martini & said it was really nice. Also the music in there was absolutely shocking too, especially for around 4.30 in the afternoon. Was some sort of cuban/Spanish type & was very loud, it was nearly impossible to have a conversation with the person opposite you. When we left my cousin did ask the girl who was serving us (very nice, friendly & polite server) who chose the music playing & she said the owner, why? & my cousin replied think he needs to choose again because it's shocking & way too loud. She replied really sorry if you had said I would have turned it down. Was really looking forward to going here as heard good reports from my cousin who'd been there before & who knows I love a cocktail but was left totally underwhelmed & very disappointed. Won't be returning or recommending.
Great place for a girls night out! Cocktail are yummy too and I love that each one is presented in its name format! Recommend the candy floss drink! A show and a sweet cocktail, winner! X
Worst cocktails I have ever tried. Sugar and cheap spirits.
Really disappointed. Ive been here several times with female friends and never had the experience I had last night. A group of us went last night, we waited a long time for a drink and in the end we decided to 'up and leave'. We were followed all the way out by the owner and he openly called to his colleague at the front door and said "have they paid?"...I've never felt so belittled. As an Abergavenny citizen I don't expect to be treated like this from any business. We have heard many negative rumours about the V24 and decided to ignore these and see for ourselves! Yes, we are older and definitely not within the all female 25-30 group range which helps if you do want to get served quicker. Unfortunately, I cannot support a business who isn't inclusive to couples or anyone older than 30!
Amazing cocktails, reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.
