Came here for shot o'clock afterwork party on Thursday. The DJ was good. The ambiance was cute, overall small but doable. I ordered a tequila ????. It was decent. Ordered seafood mac n cheese. It was decent; however, it was a very small amount of crab meat, barely noticeable. The waiter started off good and attentive, but that decreased as the crowd increased, and she was more attentive to the bar. I waited 40 minutes for my check after I asked for it - trying to be understanding for the short staff. I had to go to the register and pay. Understandable about being short staffed but read the room and prioritize. Overall, okay, experience.
Went here for Sunday brunch and had a terrible experience. For number one, the music is WAY too loud to hold a conversation. We were a party of 3, arrived at about 1:00 and were seated at the bar. We ordered food at about 1:15 and had a couple drinks while we waited. And wait we did smh. I had to ask for water 3 times before the bartender remembered and finally got it. 1 order finally came out at 2:01. Me and my other guest got our food at 2:34, at that point I asked for a box to take it home. I paid $40 for some overcooked, underseasoned, greasy lamb chops. The cook should be ashamed of himself. When it was time to pay the check, we waited an additional 20 minutes just to do that!! If you want to listen to music and have drinks while people twerk on chairs, this may be the place for you. If you are looking for a good place to eat and relax, go somewhere else cause this is not it. Plus the automatic 20% gratuity for some subpar service should be criminal. Do better!
It's not the place for large groups. Had a 2pm reservation but had to stand outside until 225 because they were not ready for our party of 12+. Only to be placed in an area that could not seat the whole party. Once moved, orders were placed, but food came out extremely slow (no more than 2 orders at a time). Was not expecting plastic, packaged utensils from a business that looked upscale. Fried items tasted like the grease needed to be changed, and the grill needed to be cleaned. And it didn't help one person in our party didn't eat after waiting over 30 minutes to find out they ran out of grits for her shrimp & grits order. They had a DJ, which was nice but too loud for the small area. This place was recommended to us, so I would not recommend this lounge/restaurant to anyone.
Walked into this restaurant and immediately the decor was so relaxing and beautiful. Martinis ????????. Food amazing! Make sure you try the Rasta Pasta if you like seafood! Definitely will be coming back to do this experience again with hooka!!!
This place is cute and cozy with a nice atmosphere. The service was very nice and friendly, also the food is fabulous. I got the Oscar Strip Steak well done over a bed of mashed potatoes and it was so tender and flavorful. Also has some greens seasoned with smoked turkey. Other family members had lamb chops over a bed of sweet potatoes. Salmon with creole sauce over a bed of mashed potatoes. If you in the area check this place out. The prices are not bad and the food is delicious. Our appetizer was fried calamari, lobster and crab dip and alligator bites. The alligator bites was a little different from what I’ve eaten before they were a little chewy but great flavor. But everything else was so good. Also they had a cheese cake to die for. It was so good and smooth.
Went here a few weeks ago and I loved it! I would definitely recommend reserving your seats as we came in as a walk in. The bar was the only thing available without a reservation. It’s super cute inside and the vibe was great! I loved the DJ! It’s definitely loud so this will not be a place if you are really wanting to have a conversation or for it to be more of an intimate outing. I had the peach cobbler French toast and it was sooo good! I will definitely be back. This is definitely a great brunch place to bring your girls if you love music and just a fun good time. We also had the hookah. I didn’t necessarily care for it but otherwise I will be back. Great time overrall!!
Went for brunch on Saturday! Place was not too packed which made it more comfortable. Our server was very nice and the food was great! Well seasoned and nice portion. I had the fish and grits, was soooo good! We also had salmon bites, lamb chops, lemon pepper wings (BOMB). My friends had chicken and waffles, Etoufee, and shrimp and grits and everyone was pleased with their dish. Definitely a nice spot and bartender was great. The mimosa flights were a hit and lemon drop shots. Will definitely return.
Had the Hangover burger, Steak philly and fried shrimp appetizer. Food was so good we asked to compliment the chef. He came out with the owner and the two of them were very pleasant and friendly. Also had the 7th Heaven and The Eden to drink...and the bartender knows what he's doing with those. Compliments to him as well. The ambiance is nice and they take reservations due to limited sitting so that's a plus. Also our waitress was the best. She was very informative and made sure we were good throughout. I believe her name was Eve if i remember correctly. Will def be going back!
