I always go here for the haircut. Best haircut place in the area. They are very professional and very decently priced. Definitely recommend.
The old middle eastern lady gave me the worst cut of my life while she keep telling me hair are curly and thinning. If you have your job, why not quit. I would need psychologist sessions after her berating :)
Affordable family hair salon, we are a long time customer, the ladies Samira, Fatimah, and Zora all do great haircut services and so much more. They are professional, friendly, and provide their services with grace, which is why i love coming here. This is really the salon to be at???? thank you ladies!!
I was hesitant to give them a bad review bec I want to support small businesses but I really don’t recommend this place. I was not able to get the name of the girl who gave me my haircut & eyebrow thread. My eyebrow thread is uneven & too thin. Note that I’ve been getting for years from other places this is the worst. Just wanted to try this place out bec we just moved & it was near to our place. She was even rude & blamed it on my “naturally thin eyebrows”.m Haircut she also did not follow instructions I said I just wanted a trim. My hair was longer than my shoulders & after she cut it, it was close to the bottom of my ear. How is that even a trim??! I am really unhappy & regret going to this place.
I have been a customer of Uptown Hair Salon for 20 years. Fatima uses high quality products and highly skilled techniques that has kept my hair healthy all of these years. I have had a wide range of services from color, perm, deep conditioning, cut and styling. All have been fantastic.
My mom is still crying from the cut she got from here. I took my mom out to treat her to a nice day since my dad died just to try and cheer her up i thought this place would be a good atmosphere classy place but it was so far from it everything was older and run down all their scissors and clippers were visibly falling apart i really didnt think it was going to be this bad online it looked so much better but it was awful. Not to mention the service there was a middle aged woman that checked us in and was horrible to my mom making little comments about how she was dressed and how hard her hair was to work with and that she couldnt do much with this mess. I felt so bad about taking my mom here it was supposed to be a nice day for her not for someone to be putting her down and making her feel bad and were paying you for this??? This lady messed my moms hair up so bad so uneven that my mom wont stop crying it honestly looks really bad so we had to pay for all this and they charged us so much just for a cut and a shampoo no product no nothing now we have to pay even more to have another salon fix it and my mom doesnt even want to leave the house because of how bad she feels about the haircut. Im writing this review to get some small justice for how my mom was treated i cant believe they advertise as a family salon we felt like anything but family dont ever come here i feel so bad that i took my mom here
This is a wonderful small, local business that i've been going to for about a year or two. The staff is always really friendly and does a good job cutting my hair. They never cut it too short like most places do!
I drove my grandma down to get her haircut here, she's gone here forever.. like 30+ years to see the same lady. She loves them and the price so for her sake, 5 stars. They do seem to specialize in womens hair so if your a guy maybe call in first and check or just go to a sport clips or something like that.
