Upton Park underground station is always busy with passengers no matter what time of the day it is. There is no disabled access only stairs to the platforms. The ticket hall area is large with a small sweet shop inside the station. There is plenty of seats on the platforms and the district and Hammersmith & City lines are very frequent from here. The station was clean but busy.
Good, seems all Asians residing at Upton park
Not always crowded. Only two platform and not confusing. District and Hammersmith &City line operates here. More District line metro than H & City which is frustrating as I take H&City to get home. Sometimes I'm waiting nearly ONE hr!
This time of this month of Ramadan (May) Upton Park put up posters and infos about Zakat (Charity) which is nice to see.
Very bad experience at Upton Park Station. Also, it's not only for this station most of the busy station's same thing. There is no facility for disabled ♿ and buggy users. Had to go up the stairs with my daughter in the buggy. How could they expect someone to use public transport? It's lacking in the TFL!!
Great transport links from here to other destinations. But there is no accessibility for disabled people. ♿
One of the busiest stations for east london, as it has a big asian grocery market next to it. Doesnt really have good connection though, have long stairs without any lifts on either side of platform.
Also have seen issues with the gates, card doesnt swipe often.
Nice train station but was stuck ages with no staff around at 6:15pm on Monday, 21st August 2023. Eventually got going.
very lovely early Victorian style station. I hope one day there will be lift access one day as it can relieve the stress and weight of people who will be carrying shopping. there was one issue which wasn't the station's fault, but I did end up waiting for a train for 10 minutes when on the dot matrix display, it showed it was due in 3 minutes
