I'm a local, just down the street. Been here 4 times so far, great every time nice chips and Fish. Fish is a tad small for a large, but its whatever they can get in today's food market prices,
And it tastes great every time.
And the Staff have always been very friendly and having a good chat and joke.

We checked webpage to confirm it was open. The chips are good so we travelled to Upton from Worcester to get some lunch, only to find it closed. No one had bothered to change the opening times online. Two little grandsons very disappointed, me furious!
Good service, price okay, ideal looking place but sadly the food isn't up to scratch. The chips were standard & acceptable but the cod was not nice at all. Firstly I paid for a large but I'm quite sure it was a small, the fish itself wasn't a nice texture (like cod usually is) and the batter was horribly thick, greasy and mostly soggy.
This is the second time I've been here as we were at the holiday home this time last year. There was a member of staff who was soo rude, cold and non engaging. She wouldn't even smile at my three year old. There was simply no need. The food was acceptable, but a little overpriced. We weren't even offered a carrier bag and the food was very hot.
Fantastic chippy, the best haddock and chips we've EVER had. Brilliant service. Lovely little seating area at the side to eat plated meals. While our haddock was freshly cooked we were asked if we'd like to sit inside out of the cold. Very clean and comfortable area. Highly recommend.
Just had fish chips .batter all soggy stuck to paper .and greasy chips no crunch hope I'm not well. Won't be going there again
Usually OK but tonight was dreadful stale batter that was thicker than the fish. The fish was about 10mm thick. Won't be going again. Chips typically good as usual
Havent been here for months so decided to give it another go
Went down at 6.15 for pie, chips ,curry sauce
Sadly not improved at all
Lukewarm pie. Soggy cold chips and the curry sauce was lukewarm too
Why it cant be cooked to order as not exactly queueing out the door and people dont mind waiting , i have no idea.
Such a shame
