Queen has been doing my daughters hair since she was a toddler, and now she's almost 12, and her hair is down her back long and healthy. The shop is a staple in our community, and I love how it's a kid friendly environment and they treat the kids like their own. The Barber's are awesome providing top-tier service as well!

Love this salon, whether you'd like braids to love to natural hair, to silk presses..this salon is clean and structured. The staff is courteous, professional, skilled. Nadine's silk press is amazing and Queen can BRAID!!!!! Love this shop!

I love going to this salon and actually look forward to my visits. The stylists in there are always so attentive and are very knowledgeable on hair. They don't seem to just do it for money they seem to do it for genuinely caring about the health of your hair. sometimes there may be a bit of a wait but it's understandable considering that they have plenty of clients that love to go to them.
I’ve been coming to Uprising for a few years for both my daughter and I. I have had the pleasure of being styled by both Nadine and Q and they are excellent stylists!!! They are patient and extremely professional. When I first decided to get my daughter’s hair relaxed and started looking at places and prices I balked at the costs that some of these shops were charging. A friend recommended me to Uprising and I have been there ever since for all my hair styling needs. Amazing and talented staff!!!!
