We stopped in for lunch and really enjoyed ourselves. Nice little views, friendly atmosphere, and the waitress/bartender was nice. We were delightfully surprised by the food. It was so delicious! I can't remember the sandwich my boyfriend ordered, but it was packed with amazing flavors. My burger was cooked perfect, and the sautéed mushrooms on it were perfect. We loved everything about our meals and will definitely be going back to this place!
Extremely poor handling of an employee error. I booked a party of 10 for a Saturday evening on the patio. I called 3 weeks in advance to make this reservation, then called and confirmed the day before. When my party and I arrived there was no table reserved and all patio tables were full. When I asked the host to find out what happened she very casually said they do not take reservations on evenings when there is a band. The manager then explained the same, that "they" "would not have taken" a reservation for that evening. I then pulled out my call log on my phone to show her that this happened, as she seemed as though she thought it was implausible. Rather then do what she could do to put the empty tables together to accommodate us she simply said "well we can't kick people out". Of course not, but I would assume since an employee made such as righteous error that they would've at least attempted to accommodate us. The manager did not, and seemed annoyed at the entire situation despite the fact that I was incredibly nice given the large inconvenience this was for myself and the party I was with. In this economy it blows my mind that a restaurant would not try to accommodate such a large party especially given it was an error / miscommunication on their end. Needless to say we went elsewhere; in short Shakers Bar & Grill was nothing short of amazing! Up A Creek could stand to communicate their policies to all employees and also treat customers with more respect in the future.

Food was good and not over priced which is refreshing. Clean restaurant with a D.J. stage.

Came here on a Friday evening with a few friends and really enjoyed the time. Sat in the outdoor section and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Our server was very attentive and always kept our drinks topped off. I really enjoyed the fries which were cooked very well and salted a good amount. I had wings and split my sauces up with Parmesan garlic and Louisiana garlic with both being delightful. The draft choices for beer were plentiful and the blue moon was a good pick. Highly recommend coming here and will be back in the future
Last night I was on the table of bar when there happened an argument between two customers, and security worked on solving the issue. I tried to leave the bar table, and the path toward any spot out of the bar looked crowed, so I had no choice but crossing behind the bar to seek another path, but there was none, so I got back to where I was. After a few minutes a security took my cup of beer and said to leave the bar. Later another security said that I was to leave because I crossed behind the bar, and there is the rule. It would have been better if there was a notice of the rule or the thing such as a small gate in front of bar.
We had a party here. About 10 people. It was a nice atmosphere. Service was ????! I got wings, which they were NOT overcooked. I will be coming back to this location????????????????
Goid food, but short staffed. Forever to have staff notice we were there, ordered appetizer and dinner. A long time later waitress walked by us and outside with a load of food. Then came back in and it was ours including appetizer and dinner. Steak was ordered medium cane out medium rare. Never asked if we wanted dessert. Took a long time to get bill. And all this and we never saw the staff smile at any customers or engage them in any way.
Biker gang harassed many of us customers one night. When we stood up for ourselves, the bouncers made us go outside to leave. The police showed up and said that that place is run by the biker gang. Outlaws from Warren. They send out little punks to harass people that are out having a good time. The punks do this so that they can then get their colors. The one biker guy came up to me and apologized for the way that the drunk kid was acting. He said you don’t have any worries if you come back here I’ll always remember you. I said you don’t have to worry about me ever coming back here. Just like the blacks over run the southside east side west side north side of Youngstown. Your white gang is no different.
