I pass this spot many times and never knew it was there. I must spread some light on it. Good location right off I-95 and Hallandale Blvd. Hard to see from the road though. You gotta check it out. The atmosphere is a breath of fresh air. The staff is attentive and very personable. The food was good. Great lighting as you can bask in the morning light shining through the windows and still be comfortably cool. Had a great conversation with my brother over breakfast. That's how relaxed and vulnerable the environment had us all. So much so that laughter spread in the air and before you know it the banter over took the music. I heard tunes I am not regularly showered with which was a pleasure to experience. I recommend this place. It's was a welcomed vide!
Just left and I decided to come leave my review. The food was excellent but I didn't like the 2 drinks I tried. I had the Oreo hot coffee but it started to give me a headache and I didn't like the aftertaste. This could be my own salt sensitivity. I tried the Mango Tango afterward which was ok. It tasted too much like water. I ordered the oatmeal for my son. He liked it but was too full from his food earlier to finish. I had the shrimp and grits with eggs. The shrimp was the best I've had in forever. The grits were a nice texture and taste. I asked the eggs be over hard and that's how I got them so they were good too. Good seasonings. My waitress was very attentive as were other people walking by who asked if I needed anything whenever they passed our table. Everyone was really nice. They held the door open for us in and out and everyone made sure to speak to me even if they weren't providing a service. I enjoyed the atmosphere. We sat inside Bec I thought my son would be more into that but they have outdoor seating as well. I would go again and just try different drinks. They have a lot to choose from.
Great food, great service! Staff very accommodating when we came in with our luggage from the airport, let us store it while we ate. Food was all delicious, will visit again next time I'm in the area!
The absolute worst. A few people said that when it first opened, everything was great. However, my aunt picked this place for her birthday, and boy was not only she disappointed but everyone was disappointed. The whole table had the waffle and chicken with the potatoes and eggs. I asked for my eggs to cooked well. They were not. They were wet and somewhat runny. The potatoes were good and fresh. The chicken was so hard it could've broken someone's tooth/teeth. I had to send mine back. Everyone else tried eating, but if you were to look at the table, we shouldn't have been charged for the food at all. Even with me sending my food back because it was cold, my chicken was still as hard as ever. I will not recommend nor visit this place ever again. You all have to do better with the high prices you guys have. Disgusted is an understatement. Nobody tried to comp not one meal. Then the business had the nerve to reply. Everything was redone, and it was. And again, the chicken was hard as hell. Imagine a 75 year old trying to eat that hard cardboard chicken. SMH never again and I will not recommend to anyone.
The oreo cookie dough french toast was underwhelming. The presentation was great but the French Toast itself didn't have much flavor, and the cookie dough filling just tasted like unsweet chocolate. The oreo crumble was negligible and the alcohol beverages were simply juice. Staff took a while to take our order and I had to flag down different people just to place the order, pay, and ask for things needed.
A delicious breakfast, with a different flavor and a luxury presentation. Careful and detailed staff. Ricardo went above and beyond with his professional and always attentive service. I recommend this place without a doubt.
I really liked this place. The presentation was good and the food even better. I loved the ice coffee I got too! Everything was delicious!
This is a completely lovely place in a mall with plenty of free parking. We enjoyed eating outside, and there were plenty of tables. The staff were incredibly friendly and the service was very good. I had the tofu scramble, and my companion had the banana French toast. I found the tofu scramble a little heavy on the turmeric and not enough herbs to make it more tasty. I was glad that I could substitute a bagel for a piece of toast. I also chose a side salad over potatoes, or a fruit salad. The value for the price was very good. My companion enjoyed the French toast, and the presentation was quite lovely. I will keep this place on my list to come again when I am in the area!
