I was finding it difficult to find a dentist that would take my daughter on . I kid you not after 18 months of unsuccessfully trying local dentists in the Whitefield & Prestwich area , where we live and getting no help other than “ we are not taking on patients at the moment” I was becoming frustrated. However, upon ringing the smile clinic they registered my daughter and have been looking after her dental care for the last 7 months and I’m really pleased with their service.

Called the morning of my appointment and left a message before surgery opened to advise that I would be unable to attend my 2pm appointment as I had an ear and throat infection, which you could hear in my voice as I hardly had a voice! Received an email when surgery opened confirming the appointment had been cancelled and the receptionist called the next day. She literally asked me to prove I had seen the doctor before she would book me another appointment, whilst I did see my doctor I don’t like their approach and stated I wouldn’t send evidence of my doctors appointments (I don’t even have to do that for my own job). The said she wouldn’t be able to make me another appointment without this.
Do the surgery think we get advance warnings of when we’re going to be ill or that emergencies happen where people are unable to attend? Do they wish for people to attend when they’re ill?
They couldn’t do enough for me last year when I was paying £150 to have private treatments they offer!
I’ve already found a new dentist so I’m not hugely put out but do feel the surgery policy needs updating.
I have just returned from the smile clinic, the 2 ladys at reception couldn't have been nicer. The dentist was patent and kind. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them .

I had a really good experience here today. I had 3 fillings done, the dentist was really patient and calm, Wich helped because I find the the experience of being at the dentist very anxiety inducing. My white fillings were done so well that I can barely feel them. He even went to the effort of fixing a slightly raised filling that I had done at a different surgery years prior. All in all, I am really happy and grateful for the experience.
I have always found the reception staff to be helpful, polite and friendly. Dr.Uddin is so calming and polite. I've not a bad word to say about this practice. Thankyou.
Avoid at all cost even if you are desperate.Lost a tooth because of their negligence. The dentist was in such a hurry and “finished” her work in 10 min. 45 minutes later I saw her shopping in Manchester.
NHS patient treated like low lives. you'r whole treatment or check would be under 15 min because they don't care about you. The quality of work and material is just low. If you walk in to a practice and see zero tolerance policy posters and reminders all over the place you have to know already what's awaiting you. The filling they used came off in 1day and broke another part of my tooth. NHS gets rip off by the greed of some companies, doctors and dentists not patents. I really hope whom write positive feedback for this practice have had a genuine visit. If you get paid to write reviews don’t brake peoples trust by misleading them.
