I never leave 1 star reviews but this time I must. As I was orienting to this good stars rating when I chose this shop.
I had a tattoo idea and called this shop, showed them what I wanted, and was told that the project could easily be done.
I made an appointment and was surprised to see a locked door... I texted the artist and he replied to me that he was running late (at that time I had already been waiting 15 min, so he did not text me in advance). In the end he showed up 45 minutes later than the appointment and he proceeded to start arguing with me...
I wanted to walk out, but somehow he talked me in to continuing the project by telling me that he could do the tattoo I wanted
I stayed and he tattooed me. Thr tattoo blurred within a week and when I came the second time in hopes that he could fix it, he started telling me that this is what I wanted and that it was fine (basically gaslighting me) ... then he tried to fix it and overdid my skin. I will have scars now and I have to redo the tattoo or laser it out. When I saw it I cried for a few days as this horrible experience will forever be with me.
Big Tuna was awesome! My second tattoo and my boyfriend's first. He was super nice and put effort into making sure the stencil was aligned and perfect. He made sure that the pain wasn't too much for both me and my boyfriend. Overall amazing. Also, I'm visiting California for Thanksgiving, and didn't have a lot of time to find someone who can do watercolor, and he exceeded my expectations. ????
Went to see Tuna here, he did a great job. His focus was on making sure the tattoo turned out right. I had a really old worn down tattoo that he revitalized.
Loved my experience here my artist was Hayden he was super approachable and patient! I knew what I wanted in my head but he was the one that really made it come to life, he totally listened and understood my vision for this piece. His black and grey work is phenomenal, I came to him specifically for his lettering and his style. I had a little accident I went on vacation two days after my appointment and didn’t take care of it properly I freaked out and called Hayden, he scheduled me in as soon as I got back so he can take a look and do some damage control as well touch ups once it healed completely. Super grateful for his expertise and being so unjudgmental to the situation… I followed his instructions to the T and my arm looks better than ever! The shop was clean and very welcoming I can see why they are rated so high. All in all, I would definitely recommend this shop and specifically Hayden he was recommended to me by my friends and we will certainly be back.

This is a review that needs to be considered before anyone wants to get a tattoo done with the artist Trent Ormonde. There’s all good reviews here but I’ve got a different experience to share, one that I’ve put off for a while(I wasn't sure what I wanted to do moving forward regarding coming back). I’ve been a good client with Trent for at least half a year before he decided to get unprofessional and ask ME, as a client, to borrow money! Yeah that’s right! The worst part? He wasn’t going to return it until I made it clear that I’m done playing games. You want to go to this shop? Their reputation is still good but only if they keep artists that aren’t as cheap as Trent. I also have reason to believe that after we worked out the money issue, he tattooed my arm too deep and it never healed right. I believe it’s possible because my healing method was the same as always and there is a lot of tattoo scaring. Everything about this guy screams STAY AWAY. I have proof of the money situation as well as a picture of my arm. No amount of money is worth the trouble I went through with this person. I will find someone else to finish the sleeve I started I just need other people to know that Trent Ormonde is an dishonest guy.
1 star for the specific tattooist i went to, not the entire shop. The shop was pretty standard, Hayden tattoo’d me and I definitely wouldn’t recommend going to him. He’s cool but he definitely scarred me in significant parts of the tattoo, I tried to confront him about it and he denied it, even though i’ve talked to multiple other tattoo artists who acknowledged it was a scar. I could feel it was hurting more than usual but I thought it may be because of where he was tattooing, only to find out it didn’t heal properly. I wouldn’t recommend working with him just simply because a tattoo is something permanent so he definitely should make sure he’s not scarring people, if it was in a more visible area I would’ve reported him further, all who read this beware - work with any of the other tattoo artists but avoid Hayden
I've been thinking about getting my first tattoo for the longest time, but because of Covid, I couldn't find a single place that would take me in. Sergio happily stepped forward and took on the job, reassuring me throughout the process while also being incredibly professional and clean. Didn't hurt at all, and I'm very satisfied with the result! Thank you for an amazing first tattoo!
