Started off as a fine experience, came from california on a trip and came to eat here, we ordered for my uncle, me, and my grandpa, i ordered the #3 js the pancakes and my grandpa ordered the #3 with the eggs, pancakes, potatoes and ham, my order came, my uncles came, and my grandpas PANCAKES came and he gave them to my mom since he didn’t want them and everyone finished eating and my grandpa still didn’t have his plate of eggs ham and potato’s we asked if they’re almost ready and they asked the cooks to make them, we waited more and they brought out pancakes and got mad when we said that we had already gotten those and the girl with blonde hair slammed them on our table then took them back and she then brought out two plates of eggs and we said this isn’t it either, the #3 we ordered comes with eggs ham and potato and we js got two plates of eggs and she got mad and said “well you don’t know how to order” we decided to not even wait for the order anymore then decided to pay and she wanted to charge us for the full plate of what we never received and the blonde/black hair girl screamed “WELL THEN WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO CHARGE YOU THEN” the guy who took the order came out and started screaming at my grandpa, his worker started yelling at him to stop and he didn’t, the girl kept rolling her eyes and gave complete disrespectful attitude. Definitely wasted our time and disrupted everyone else having their meal by screaming.
The place was pretty busy. We sat down and decided what we would want. I had the #3 (3 eggs with hash browns, bacon and toast). He had the #4 (Denver omelet with hash browns and French bread). We shared a grilled cheese sandwich as an appetizer. I had coffee which came with a little cream dispenser instead of little plastic servings. I love that!!!
As you can see in the pictures, I short of washed the plate. ????????
He had a root beer with no ice. Our waitress was Mary and she was VERY service oriented. I spoke in Spanish to her (because that’s what I do when I notice the other person is Latin@) and she responded very politely even though my plus one doesn’t understand and dislikes feeling left out. But she respectfully addressed him in English and waited on us like we were the only ones there.
The place is small but is constantly being patronized. There are 2 person booths and all but one were in use. The counter seating was also almost to capacity. But… that’s not all… people kept walking in to pick up orders.
Prices are reasonable for the times. Yes… a little hole on the wall but the food has good flavor. I reiterate the service is outstanding and the atmosphere was an old fashioned way. The line cooks worked as if they were synchronized and that made the order come out quick.
All in all I had a good experience
This is a perfect sit down diner for breakfast. Sit at the bar and watch them work together, and make your food. Food is delicious. I ordered the ribeye steak and eggs for $12.49. I substituted the rib eye for chicken breast instead. I just try not to eat too much red meat. Chris served me very well and kindly. This is the place to go to for a good American breakfast. Plain and simple. Meat, eggs, potatoes, and friendly smiles. The portions are great. This is now my go to spot for early morning eats.
The service was quick as was the server. The portions were big, there were 3 of of us, we all took leftovers home. Worth checking out
Food was good. Service was ok. Tight fit but, i wouldn't have it any other way. Great place to eat.
This is really a quick bite breakfast joint. Very inexpensive and alright tasting. You'll get your order 5-10 mins of ordering. I payed $23 for these two plates and two orange juices. The staff were also really nice . I took a pic of their menu because they don't have an online one incase ya were wondering what kind of plates they have.
The food is great , employees treat you with respect really friendly. Nothing but good things about this place
One of my favorite go to breakfast joints..
Food is always on point
