We called on a Monday to schedule an appointment for simple haircuts for my kids, she said she had availability Wednesday at 2. We said we would take it. We show up Wednesday at 145 and she said she didn't have anything in the books and was currently coloring someone's hair with another waiting to get a wash. She was still able to work two of our kids in for a cut. Overall, a good job just needs better scheduling process.
Iris does great job at hair cuts, Brazilian blowouts, weaves, hair color and more. Her small hair store has a nice selection of hair care products to choose from. She has been cutting my hair for years now and she takes time and detail to what her clients request. Thankful to have her always available!
Iris is a miracle worker!!! I had hot fusion hair extensions put into my Mohawk and she did so good most people don't even think to ask if it's my hair or not. I absolutely love her work. I will not go to another salon ever again
My wife got her hair cut there. She hasn't had a good haircut like this in a while. The hair dresser was quick yet focused, rechecked her work multiple times, styled it well and the price was very affordable.
Amazing experience… I was traveling from out of town and needed a same day appointment for a photo session. Iris was super accommodating even though it was totally last minute and gave me a walk in appointment within next 30 mins. The hair cut was amazing and very reasonably priced. They have the cutest little dog- Princess who loves to welcome guests- made my day!

Do not use this solan for a type of formal hair styling.
My wife and I had a formal photo shoot that we won, we decided last minute that my wife was going to have her hair styled. I called Iris and asked me to send her some pictures. I sent her one photo that my wife could find that was exactly what she wanted. Iris responded the next morning saying she had a 12 o'clock opening. We got there, she had two dogs running around and was playing or petting the dogs. She didn't wash her hands before working on my wife's hair.
She proceeded to tease my wife's hair and used a ton of hair spray, pulling the hair all the way over to the side... My wife has naturally curly hair and the hair style picture we sent her was not what my wife's hair looked like, not even close.
We ended up going to a grocery store to pickup some shampoo and conditioner, then finding a gym to get a free day pass. Thank you Alaska Club for letting us use your showers. My wife had put a hair clip in for the photos.
I wish I had a picture of what she did, but we were in a panic because our photos were at 2pm. What a mess.
The Customer Service I received was outstanding and my hair was done amazingly. She got me in last minute and I couldn't be more pleased. She trimmed my ends to my liking and styled it just the way I like it styled. I was in and out in an impressive amount of time. I always had my hair done by Dominicans and so happy I've found her here in Alaska! Great conversation and money well spent.
