Tasty food at a great price with quick service! The tenderloin is meaty and not gristly or greasy. The french fries are like steak fries but thinner, awesome! The loaded fries and ribs are out of this world.
We drove 40 miles on our Sunday drive. Your restaurant was highly recommended. Looked up your Sunday hours and showed you were open until 2:00. Imagine our surprise when we arrived you were closed. Please update your hours!! We went to the Uptown Tavern. Had a good burger & fries and a lovely young lady who served us. Made it worth the trip!!
This quaint little cafe is located in a small town in Indiana. I had a hamburger, and the taste and restore were terrific! The patties are formed and cooked where you can see (see the pictures for the sign). The fries were different - sliced long and thin. They could have been a little warmer but were still good. The only negative was the service, which was slow.
Food is very good, portions are huge. Ordered 2 pancakes. Loved them but it took 2 meals to eat both. Reasonable prices. Excellent staff
The breakfast offerings are standard and well prepared. The item I keep going back for is the country fried tenderloin. I've had it on several occasions and it's always perfectly cooked, tender, and juicy. Paired with any of the potato offerings (the tots are a nice change from norms) and a side salad (to get you started quickly if you're really hungry) I don't think it can be beat. Prior to that discovery I tried a few other menu items and all were good but nothing compares to that tenderloin dinner, not to be confused with the giant tenderloin sandwich which is also btw a good choice. :)
The prices are reasonable, often crowded, but easy to get quick seating in off peak hours. This place does a lot of business so expect a few minutes of waiting if you arrive at popular dining hours.
We live a few miles away in Sullivan but it's a simple decision to make the drive when you know how great the food will be.
Good food, great service. Had the clam basket with fries. Can hardly find fried clams. Glad I stopped by.
Didn't expect to find this nice little cafe in town. Seemed to be a local favorite. Had the beef Manhattan. It and the sweet tea were really good.
We Love this place Jon's staff are very nice and the food is awesome I highly recommend this place's hands down the best restaurant around here
