Best KPortal Reviews

My dad and I took a trip to Dundee so try a pizza place only to find out it was closed. So we saw this place across the street and decided to check it out. Definitely recommend! The bartender is super friendly and the food is really good. I recommend the brisket Mac n cheese wrap.
I’ll definitely be back here soon!
As always the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. The food is absolutely amazing. Grilled Brussel sprouts as an appetizer, love that they have their own spice to them. Also had the brisket/Mac and cheese wrap with homemade chips. The chef never fails to amaze my tastebuds.
Definitely over priced for what was on the menu to what you got. Should have read the reviews before ordering. The Burnt End Dinner was really an appetizer ($13.99 for 5 pieces!). I received 5 cold, grizzle, dry pieces. I did order the fries, which were very salty. My husband ordered the Brisket Sandwich. It tasted more like a chuck roast. If nothing had sauce probably would have not been able to eat due to it being dry. The housemade chips had a garlic, pepper flavor and very salty. The venue raves about the 12 to 18 hours of smoking on their meat, did not have any smoky flavor. At least could put liquid smoke in the sauce to fake it. The drinks over priced. I had mixed drink tall and was charged an extra 0.50. Guess they must need help paying for soda because I am sure if it had an extra shot I would have been charged more the 0.50. There is also a credit card fee ($4) that you are not warned about. There is no sign, the waitress did not say anything. So beware of that. The service was ok. The waitress seemed more interested in making sure the certain types of customers were taken better care of and we were there just as an accessory ( Lauren I beleive).
I must say, I feel like we got ripped off based on the prices and quality of food. I ordered the burnt end “dinner” and it was maybe one burnt end and the rest was brisket bark. Also, what kind of dinner at a place like this doesn’t come with a side or two? That’s right, all sides are expensive a la carte. Lastly, they charged $5 for the use of a credit card. That’s right, an 8% surcharge with no signs or verbal warning that I would be price gouged in such a manner. Forgot to mention that they reuse their beer pint glasses. Ewww. We won’t be back.
Great food! Our burgers were so juicy! The Cook was on his game! Excellent service! My only complaint is that the tables need to be spaced out more or set up differently. My husband was polite and scooted his chair in when people sat behind him but they didn't budge when he tried to get up out of his seat to leave.
WOWZERZ, What a pleasant lunch. Absolutely loved those brussel sprouts, PBR on tap, lots of craft beers on tap, pulled pork, turkey ruben, EVERYTHING was awesome. Courtney is a great server AND cook. We'll return, every time
Very unfortunate this bar used to be a very nice place to visit, for drinks/socializing. Unfortunately they have a new blonde women they hired, that happens to be extremely mean/hateful. This person seems to bring emotions from home into work and the experience is and has been HORRIBLE! Coming from a 10 year customer, do yourself a favor and do not come to this place and waste you're hard earned money!
Brisket was cold and mostly fat or gristle. Burger ordered medium came out well done. Prices are high for the food as sides are extra. Way overpriced for what you get. Upstairs music and bar were good.
