Food was outstanding. Not going to lie bough when we pulled up I almost told my hubs to keep driving but he assured
Me i wouldn’t regret it. Walking in was like going back in time. A teeny tiny little diner filled to the brim with regulars and the smell of amazing food. The 2 women working we sweet and personable and stellar cooks. I got the “hobo” with a hot link. I could eat it everyday! The gravy was perfection! Creamy and flavorful! The thinly sliced potatoes fried up with peppers onions eggs and a heft amount of cheese made my tastebuds dance! I will 1000% be back.
As everyone has described, this is a tiny location that has a simple, traditional breakfast menu that has been mastered which made it a truly delicious experience. I think this place seats around 20 people. Usually, when we drive by on the weekend, it's packed. We went on a weekday morning at 10 am which was perfect because we got a table immediately. I ordered the corned beef hash benedict which I ate all of because it was so delicious. My hubby got corned beef hash & eggs which he also loved. We also shared a pancake. I'm not usually a fan of pancakes but this one was really good. Service and food was prompt. Would love to go back.
Small place to grab some no flavor breakfast. Coffee was water down. Just pick this place at random with a 4.6 rating. Rating is complete off. Only 14 people fit inside at a time. There was 2 tables and the rest were bench. If you are medium size, you won't fit comfortably. Any bigger then that and you'll take up 2 spots. CASH ONLY
Got out of work early and was craving some pancakes, thought I’d give this spot a try. I routed my drive back home so I can swing by. I called at 11:03 to place an order and let the girl on the phone know I’d be there in 10 minutes. In a very condescending way she told me they don’t take anymore takeout orders past 11:00. She was definitely on a power trip, seriously what’s three minutes for an order of pancakes? I won’t be giving this place a second chance.
We are visiting from RI and stopped in for a quick bite before our days adventures! Karen was so kind and made us feel right at home! Our 4 year old son raved about his food and ate every bite! Definitely check them out if you’re in the area!
Uncle Bud's Kitchen Restaurant is classic! It belongs on a lonely highway where truck drivers would stop to eat. Why? The place is warm and friendly, the service is good with real gracious folks, and the food is so so good!
It's the smallest restaurant I've ever been to. But the customers are as friendly as the staff. It is ONLY a breakfast restaurant that closes before noon. I strongly recommend going if you get a chance. You won't be disappointed.
Over 20 years in bellflower, and I just ate here. Great food. Hidden gem in plain sight. In 7 days, I've had breakfast here 3 times.
You cannot go wrong here! Very local spot that’s been around for years!! I love the Lumberjack plate and one of the best things here are the breakfast!! It’s a small place but one to wait for. Food is served hot off the grill not like Denny’s or IHOP but I definitely recommend this place if you get there early. It’s an old fashioned diner, seats about 15-30 people and Cash Only! Gayle is nice and Karen. They got history here and hope it continues to be run throughout the generations!! Please open one up in TX!
