We were hungry and tired and we were visiting Little Italy in New York. we were having issues deciding where to eat because there were so many restaurants. But we found a nice gentleman that offered us to choose Umberto’s Clam House. He was also very gentle and took a picture of us. We had the spaghetti with meatballs which was very good and a Margarita pizza. The staff were very friendly, nice and knowledgeable as well. We had a really good dining experience and will return for sure.
Perfect place to enjoy quality time while enjoying delicious food and sangria ????. The food tastes amazing and they know how to make a sangria the right way! Beyond happy with this place and Andy made our night memorable with his kind, friendly and energetic personality! 100% recommend this place ????????
Little Italy is a foodie’s delight. We definitely wanted to try something Italian and decided to go to this place because honestly the guy outside the restaurant who was wooing people to come in and try their menu. He was very convincing.
Ordered for Lasagna and Eggplant Parmigiana. Both were good and flavourful. The staff is pleasant. We had a nice experience.
Ofcourse it’s pricey due to their mandatory gratuity tax.
Whenever we go to Little Italy in New York, we always have a problem deciding where to eat because there are so many restaurants. The last time we chose Umberto’s Clam House. The linguini with clam sauce was very good and the portion served was huge. My wife had the pizza which was also great. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable as well. We had a really good dining experience and will return.
A great way to warm up on a cold winter afternoon. Exceptional service. Andi, Frank and Patricio were the consummate professionals. Magnificent cocktails. Reasonably priced happy hour.
Conveniently located on Mulberry St. in Little Italy. The menu is extensive and what you'd expect with all of the classic dishes. Prices were reasonable and food was exceptional!! Good, attentive service also. We had chicken picata and veal Marsalis. Both were amazing.
The food here was actually insane it was so delicious. the service was beautiful we had an awesome waiter that took our orders made suggestions because my momma couldn’t make up her mind ???? The prices are a little higher but the quality of the food is so much different than any other Italian place you’ll visit. We had oysters and Seafood Marechiaro and the seafood just tasted so fresh so different. The bread was so fresh and they made a delicious bruschetta mix. The lobster bisque didn’t have much lobster in it but it was crazy good. This is a must visit in Little Italy.
This place and it’s owner are truly a gem and not to be missed when visiting little Italy. Manny, the owner, waited on us himself and shared some of the colorful history of the place. The food was awesome and he took great care of us. If you are looking for good traditional (and reasonable) Italian food with amazing hospitality … Umbertos is the place.
