Love the vibes here! Great haircuts with an added level of care compared to most places. Josh is awesome - he always manages to squeeze me in even at odd hours. He even opened the shop early for me once. 5 stars from me!!
Larry gave me an excellent haircut. He listens, asks questions and devotes himself to you while in his chair. I love my shorter hair, the cut allows me to style in many different ways.
I went in for a trim to keep my hair healthy as it moves through the ugly stages of growing out. Josh turned my "ugly stage" into it's own refreshed and perfect look. 100% going back as it grows out more!
I got my hair cut at Ultra Beautician today with Jake. This was my first visit to this salon. I have never had so much fun getting my hair cut. Jake and the owner of the salon, Deryl, were both incredibly friendly and down-to-earth. It was refreshing. And the salon itself was very homey with a lot of personality and none of that sterile feeling. It was very relaxing. And of coarse my haircut was great! I would highly recommend this salon.
Overall vibe is fun and outrageous (in a good way).
The haircut itself was not very great.
I went for a trim and my hair was cut while wet. The person cutting my hair didn't blowdry it afterwards to see if it looked good dry and to make finishing touches. I didn't ask because I wasn't aware and just trusted that the stylist did a good job.
However, when my hair dried, I could see that my hair was uneven and there were parts that were not cut. The trim itself was choppy--anyone COULD def see where the scissors cut and how they were angled.
I was told that I could come in again to get things fixed, which is kind, but I do not live in the area.
Mainly leaving this review so that the stylists can improve.
Love this place! I’ve been coming here for years and have always had an amazing experience. Josh always cuts and styles my hair to perfection. Everybody is always so friendly and the atmosphere is great. I recommend Josh to all my friends for both girl and boy cuts and they love him too!
I love coming here. Such a fun place to get a haircut. The staff is awesome too!
I usually only review when I feel service is really good, or really bad. Love this place! I got a hair cut by Mike and I LOVE it! He did a great job. Quirky little place with tons of crazy-artsy and fun stuff to look at. Nice conversation and will definitely be going back!
