My battery needed an urgent replacement and I was running around desperately trying to find someone who will do without several days' waiting list and at a reasonable price. I was lucky to find this place - all done on the spot at a very reasonable price, the guy was friendly and very supportive, explained my options and voila the work is done.

Took my car there for a simple repair after a recommendation but it ended up staying far longer and cost a lot more than what was originally quoted. Felt like I was spoken down to when I questioned this. Will not be going there again or recommending to anyone!

Udalls garage to be very helpful and reliable they serve the LGBT community well .
Having recently moved to the area I was keen to find a local garage and I couldn't have done better. These guys are great and so lovely to deal with. I've only done an MOT so far but even on that they didn't try to upsell. I look forward to interacting with them again, very confidence inspiring! Also, recommend to me by others.
Mar 2024 Update: I've now used Mark for extensive servicing of a Honda and a Citroen and I really like working with these guys!
I can't speak highly enough of Mark and Tom at Udalls. I've been taking my car here for a few years for regular services, MOTs, and all manner of repairs – they’re always up-front with costing, the work is carried out exactly as agreed, and, having rung around for bigger jobs, rates are definitely reasonable. On top of that, they’re always understanding, kind and supportive – exactly what you need when your motor throws you a curveball. Absolute gems!
I have been going there for a long time with several cars but with every car it has been a perfect experience.
I sometimes took my daughter there with me and it was very friendly and we were very comfortable.
For a local family run business, the advice has always been helpful, truthful and knowledgeable.
The turnaround has always been speedy and has always gone above and beyond.
