Stayed with my daughter. Spacious room nice balcony view. Close to highcliff Castle and beach. Free parking. Bed wasn't as comfortable as I wanted. The bathroom was outdated but big. No room service. Upon check in, I was told that the hotel was due to close down for renovation the following week and would be under new management when we opened in a couple of years.
Set in lovely grounds, a fair distance from the road, so no traffic noise. This hotel has retained a lot of its original character, which really appealed to us. Rooms were nice, mattress was very comfortable. Evening meal & breakfast were very good. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Would definitely stay again.
This pub/hotel blew both me and my Mrs away stunning localtion and friendly people we will be back. ???????? to top it off you can see the planes fly into Bournemouth from there beer garden. Totally recommen for a quick pint or a full night stay! 10/10 amazing. ????
We would come back here in a heartbeat. Great, friendly atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble for our kind hosts, Mark and Sara and the building and grounds are charming and beautiful.
It's not the Hilton, but neither is the price. We cannot remember better value for money.
The food was great and the accommodation comfortable.

Went to Tyrrells Ford for lunch. A very extensive menu, and high quality food, generous portion sizes. Can recommend the scampi, pork sweet and sour, and rice pudding. Will definitely visit again.
Enjoyable stay, lovely grounds and people but our room was a little run down and the bed was uncomfortable.
Although we found out we were the last guests as Tyrrells Ford has been sold and should become a spa in a couple of years!
Unassuming from the road as the place seems a little neglected. Inside was also somewhat antiquated, however much to my surprise the place was bustling when I entered and I had a job to get to the bar. Couldn't decide between a real ale or cider so the Landlord insisted I try a sample of them all! Great local selection and well kept too. I wasn't dining either but the food looked homecooked and very reasonably priced compared to the other hostelries in the locality. I shall return to dine next when the Wife is at the Inlaws which means I'll have to find my own supper.????????
This pub/hotel blew me away it’s a stunning place to have a pint????, food and even to to stay, the locals and the staff are lovely and friendly. To top it off you get to see the planes landing in Bournemouth airport. 10/10 ????
