Found them through FaceBook Marketplace. They have a variety of tyres and have a lot of knowledge that they shared with me in order to make my tyres last longer! Friendly genuine lads.
Unsafe tyres, beware!
- Stopped by this place as my car's front left wheel had a bad puncture. Not my usual garage but thought I'd give it a try after searching for places close by at the time and it had good reviews.
- Although the service was good and who I assume was the owner was nice and friendly, not long after I drove off I noticed the steering wheel alignment was completely off! I had an appointment so couldn't turn back.
- When I called the owner about it he tried to explain that the mis-allignment could be due to driving the car when the wheel was quite flat, however I've had my fair share of tyre punctures and pretty sure that it wasn't the case. To be fair he offered for me to go back and if anything was wrong with the tyre he would replace it.
- I took the tyre to be checked at my usual garage since it was more local and was shocked to find that the tyre I had replaced was badly damaged with a crack and bulging on one side! Didn't even cross my mind that I had been sold a dodgy tyre! Absolutely infuriating as I have young children and can only imagine it was an accident waiting to happen. Whether the tyre was put on by mistake or on purpose I will definitely not be going back!
I received a reply from the owner but there doesn't wasn't an option to respond so I've added it here as an update to my review:
Thank you for your reply and information but I'd like to clarify:
- The car started swerving badly shortly after I drove off after getting the tyre replaced on the same day, not weeks. Prior to getting the tyre changed the car did not swerve.
- I don't expect business owners to be able to remember every interaction with their customers, but I called you 3 days after visiting the garage, again not weeks. Not sure about other people, but if the problem occurred weeks after I got the tyre replaced I would have just counted it as my bad luck. So your whole explanation of because my driving has caused the damage to the tyre is not the case. The tyre was already damaged right from the start.
- I gave credit where credit is due in that you did offer to replace the tyre if I went back. In this case, unfortunately I wasn't left with a very good impression so I decided to go to my regular garage instead. I actually thought maybe the wheel alignment was off since your colleague was rushing between me and another customer that arrived shortly after I got there.
- You said you checked for bulges and leaks before putting the tyre on my car. Clearly since the bulge was there right from the start you'd actually missed this. Maybe in the rush of trying to serve two customers it's a misfortunate accident but for road safety, this could have come at a very high price. So what I have learned from this experience is that from now on, I will be checking 2nd hand tyres for obvious damage before letting people put them on.
Abdul (the owner) was selling a car from this business but under the name of TF traders on Autotrader. When selling the car Abdul only mentioned faults with the car when questioned about them such as the petrol cap not having normal function and the tyre pressure sensor not working. He tried to say the brake pads were new when they were clearly not. A month after having the car all the brake lights stopped working, I took this to a garage who advised there has been serious damage to the rear of the vehicle which has been poorly rectified. He told me he bought the car from a dealership but has since admitted he bought it from an auction. I have since spoken to Abdul about this who decided to block two of my numbers so I have taken this to trading standards.
VERY GREAT PEOPLE. I have no experience about tyres but i can definitely tell you one thing for sure that you will NOT be robbed here. Excellent Service and Best Quality used tyres at very reasonable prices.
Had my BMW X5 21 inch Runflat winter tyres done from here yesterday as getting ready for Christmas Holidays.
Firstly I can find the good quality used tyres from here only at a Great price because brand new winter tyres are a fortune to buy(trust me these tyres are really hard to get). Secondly the service was out of this world. Really appreciate the way they treated us.
Without any doubt that I’m going back to this place for my all other cars.

I had my 7 series tyres fitted today. I have been coming the third time in 2 weeks because my car had some issues mechanically and the mechanic has told me that I need to keep on trying different premium brand tyres to check which ones best fixes the problem. Abdul fitted the Pirelli’s for the first time and the problem was still there, than I rang him and asked if I can replace them to some other brand. Without any hesitation he said he will order some others and I can try those ones. Again the other tyres were replaced and didn’t sort out the issue. Than the third time I called him and said if I can try some others. Again without asking any single question he said he will order some others and finally the last pair of tyres sorted the issue out.
Im telling you guys and girls that no one do that in todays world now.
Abdul is one of the great person I have ever met and the service he has provided cannot be described in words.
