Stopped off while travelling down to Swansea, nice and quiet. Apologies for the first hit after a long journey, conveniently hitting the pole perfectly and bouncing back ????
Undertaking some improvements at time of visit, but looking forward to popping by again in the summer when next down to see and maybe give the 9 hole a try.
Excellent value for money, really excited to see how the place is going to be following new owners handsome investment! Definitely recommend!
Great first time playing golf today at Tycroes, started off at the driving range then to the 9hole Course. Very good price for a good day out, the 9holes were fun to play. Bunkers and Ponds around to give it a bit of a challenge. The fairway and the green were nice to play on, would definitely recommend for new players or people who want to practice, will definitely be coming again.
Please be aware that half the course is shut due to 'construction work' ongoing (I rang twice in the week prior to travelling and not once was this mentioned until we arrived). The range is short and narrow, with not many bays. My father used the toilet which he says smelled terrible. We gave up and went to Gowerton golf range, which we found is a far more professional setup.
I know that this is a par 3 pitch and putt course but it is honestly the worst golf experience I have ever had. Four holes were closed because the netting on the driving range was damaged (or so I was told). I was told I could play the other five holes as much as I liked. The course was in an appailing condition. The fairways (if you could call them that) looked as though they hadn't been cut in ages. The greens were even worse, with so many weeds that it was impossible to putt properly. And for this I was charged £7. I can't comment on the driving range as I didn't use it and it looked like there is an indoor video range as well. I would not recommend even an absolute beginner use the par 3 course as it would likely put them off the game for life.
Please do not waste your time here balls not fit for purpose must be 20 year old one piece as a driving range operator it lets the industry badly down, mats really poor honestly please don’t waste your time and money here owners call your Srixon representative and give people value for money £4 for 60 corks is not acceptable in 2023
Great driving range and very inexpensive to use. Used the indoor simulator too and that was good fun when cold outside. Would definitely recommend if you are looking to practice.
Great local driving range, very good price for 60 balls and friendly staff. Great to see improvements being made with new nets and mats!
